Charly Antolini is a fantastic Drummer!! He was one of my early heroes together with Buddy Rich. I think his Styleis a mixture of Buddy Rich , Charlie Persip , Louis Bellson and Max roach. He was always both tecnically and melodic. Great Drummer. Go Charly.
What a great drum solo!!! Never heard of Charly before. Yes, I would have to put him up with such greats as Buddy Rich and Belson. He does have more power and strength in his playing as with Buddy and Belson. Definitely an underrated drummer

He plays for sure MUCH more "melodic" than Buddy Rich and Rich imho always sucked at his unmmelodic cymbal-play, but "better" is relative...
