Very cool finds!! I love the material and the old pieces- some really nice blades and points there. Good piece of real estate for thousands of years 👍🏻🙂
That hilltop that the old homesite was built on was probably an ancient Indian homesite at one time and if I was you guys I'd do some digging right on top of that hill. Back when I lived in Texas and was artifact hunting I'd look for those small isolated hills and especially if they were near a creek or river. They were no doubt in that area y'all are digging on and I bet they had a homesite on top of that hill.
I need a soil/bottle probe. Anyone know where I could get one? I need one that is made out of spring steel, with a carbon steel tip, and is welded. I don't have anyway to weld nor do I know of anyone at the moment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
moast relics lay flat ...around here we try not to dig streight down tend to hit more and brake them, we use spade 3 tooth> and yal do all hard work to get down to them then fill them in, ur just scraping top of the camp....... a gravel layer usually mark bottom>>>> i like yalls chanel i watch all ur vids ...... i dont mean to try and tell yal how to dig but ur missing all good stuff deeper....... ive dug 15 foot deep with the top 6 foot was overburden ...... just puttin my 2 cence in keep up the vids ,,,,
I'm still here navigating this human condition. Been busy with the kids lately. Hope this new site lasts. Thanks for sticking around. I don't forget the OG subscribers.
@@ZachByrd , there is not a single video of yours that does not invoke fond memories of your family. I am also transfixed by your channel's relatively recent and very competent focus on Native American stone artifacts. I have a small found collection as well that documents the use of fossilized material in the making of tools. Very exciting. Forever yours, Will.
Im absolutely fascinated by Native American history. Have been my whole life. I'm just glad Jason and I figured out a productive and efficient way to find these artifacts.
I don't know if you are aware of it but your video is really blurry . It make the points a little hard to see good . But congrads on a new site . It look like a real good one.
Man you guys make digging look fun
Amazing old finds. Keep up the hard work and make us all jealous!! Haha. Good job!!!
Very nice video, congratulations on your finds!! Be waiting for your next one!!👍🏻🇺🇸
Can't wait to move back up to North GA next year. I had some sites that I never was able to dig before moving away.
