Beautiful work! You’ve totally brought back my childhood!
Your work is a true inspiration. You know Rapido is remaking HO scale BART trains in A,B and C cars!
Thank you. Yes, I have my pre-order ready. I hope they get here soon.
I believe it’s in its final production
I also pre ordered mine
Really AWESOME! I grew up in Oakland 1960's-70's and then Fremont 1970's-80's so this is super cool and reminiscent of my youth. Love the scrolling destination boards and all levels of detail you painstakingly created in your realistic layout. Way to go brother!
Thanks for the kind words. There is still more to be done as I complete two independent mainline trackways for BART. Thanks for viewing.
Congratulations my friend. You make me proud, keep up your fantastic work.
Thank you very much
Great work,I remember riding Bart when first opened from Daly City to SF and most exciting going under the Trans bay tube ,I am aging myself but that is what makes Miniature Awesome creation that you captured in these Spectacular scenes you included all parts that makes you feel you can hop on board and go to desired destination!
Congratulations on your incredible efforts you nailed it!
God bless you
Always looking forward to your inspiring new Scenes.
Best regards
Dan and Armando Vargas
The working screens on the platform are so cool!
Thanks...that's one of my favorite parts of this video also.
They are cool! I’m just wondering if there’s a way to change how and where information is displayed. When a train is in the station IRL, the signs would show:
*ANTIOCH*
10-CAR, 2-DOOR
*MILLBRAE /*
*SFO AIRPORT*
10-CAR, 2-DOOR
And while a train is not in the station, it shows:
Millbrae/SFO 5,20
10-Car, 2-Door
Daly City 10,20
9-Car, 3-Door
SFO Airport 15,30
10-Car, 3-Door
(Of course, this has since changed so that instead of showing 10-CAR, 2-DOOR it now shows 10-CAR, YL LINE, but if you’re doing Millbrae/SFO then it would be more accurate to show doors).
Very cool setup, I love it. It’s very inspiring. I subbed and can’t wait to see your new Rapidos run your BaRT line. Gotta have some station announcements too!
Thank you. Yes, Rapido said their model will have PAs included
An interesting model of this San Francisco model subway part. Great👍👍👍
Those roof beams are not only to stop sound but to hold the roof of the station
wow soo cool!
Very cool I wanna build something similar for my layout
The new ho scale bart trains are being released around the fall of this year. they are up for preorder. with or without dcc sound.
Yes, my pre-order is in. Thank you
@@blakrootz one fellow ho scale train collector to another, you're welcome 💪👍
The progress looks great so far I’m wondering if the BART subway lines are going to be operating on their own continuing loop of track that would look really cool
Yes, there will be two independent main lines for the Bart trains
@@blakrootz that’s awesome I look forward to seeing this all completed an amazing tribute to the real original BART train sets hopefully an example of those sets will get preserved at the western California railroad museum which is working to get a special exhibit built for it
Great video! I am a new follower for your channel. I have been building an HO Subway in my head for about 15 years now. Watching your videos has given me the push I needed to go buy some material to get started. Thank you!
What did you use for the platform? You mentioned the tile, but what is under? is it that foam or wood?
The entire station and platform is made of wood. On top of the platform is peel and stick adhesive floor tile. Home Depot has plenty of free samples for you to choose, which you may like. I had to choose between two and found one fairly similar to that of the flooring at Embarcadero BART Station. I eventually bought a pack and then cut it to size with a band saw. If you don't have that, you can use scissors, but it will be a bit difficult. Please keep me posted on your progress and be sure to see video one of this project of how I began. The link is in the description. Thanks for the support and subscribing. 👌🏾👍🏾😁
Great job but like in the last video what station is it ? Is it the embarcadero or something else
I live in pinole, ur entire bay area layout is a dream I hope to make one day, possibly in G scale. Any chance I could see it?
Let's talk at the Carquinez Model Railroad Train Club in Crockett this Saturday. They have an open house from 10am-4pm. See you soon to discuss.
When are you going to show how you installed dcc in your Bart cars
I'm so sorry about that. I figured since Rapido Trains has the new revised versions coming out this year (summer 2024 or so), there was no need to do so as they are already DCC ready with all the bells, lights, whistles, and other sound effects. thanks for inquiring. my apologies again.
GoodWork?
Thanks
