I have a question woud it be good to put seam sealer glue between the new bolt on mounts and the frame because if u go trough water, water can accumilate in between the frame and new mounts witch are screwd in ? Ye its not going to be a problem instatnly but later down the line it coud rust the frame in that part ye its painted but water can still get trough paint to the metal to rust out that part if there is water there for some time
Nice vid. I don’t understand why Airlift sends out angled air line fittings for the bag which made routing the air lines super tricky in the frame cup. I replaced mine with straight fittings so that the airline came straight up and out.
You’re talking about for the front bags? I definitely prefer to run the line straight up and then put a 90° union fitting just outside. I’ve never gotten fittings from them so I didn’t know- I’ll have to message them about that!
@@Realest1979 it’s a 90° PTC union- just line to line DOT push- connect. Makes installing/removing a bag so much easier and you don’t need to leave a bunch of slack in that long run from the front end back to the trunk
hi if you can suggest where to buy this whole system. i have 67 continents. and what would be suitable for my car? thank you I can't speak English myself. only with translation
Can you recommend which manufacturer's system is better to look at 67. Continental. I have a convertible and it wouldn't complicate things with the installation?
@@jurekssima7836 I prefer Choppin' Block- their parts are built very stout, everything comes powder coated and pre-assembled, and the price is decent. Murray also makes a nice setup but if you asked me to choose I'd stick with Choppin' Block.
I know it’s a touchy subject, but he drove the car 800 miles to drop it off with us with zero issues- it’s hard to argue with the power and reliability for the price! Just gotta leave the hood closed at the car shows and nobody has to know haha
@@twistedimages405 no argument there ! I have a 66’ sedan in my shop & the owner had the 460 rebuilt (modified too) & we like having the hood open . Nice work on your part , good looking kit too👍. Have a good one from Florida
@@markkraus3598 I respect anyone that goes through the pain and expense to keep the stock Lincoln drivetrain alive- these cars aren’t for the faint of heart or weak of wallet!
This was great to watch. I'm about to install this air ride kit to my 61 hardtop, so it was great to see the process.

Old muscle cars are the best ones ever build.
They definitely aren’t built like this anymore!
@@twistedimages405 yes. Sadly in my country you cant afford one, since gas is 2€ per liter

Great video. The length and detail will be great for anyone attempting this at home. The weather reports were a bit out of date tho.... 😘
