Those geometric cuts in the fabric are a pretty genius idea! Might have to look into getting something from y’all to add to my plate carrier. Much love from Texas.
This is honestly THE pouch I've been looking for, for years. Ever since my time as an 11b back in the 2010s GWOT as well, pouches and just kit in general was always a pain to deal with when flexing into different weapons and roles in the unit. This would have alleviated so much kit shenanigans. And honestly this would have saved me 100s of dollars in pouches over the years.
Been waiting for these. Answer to my problem. My prior solution was setting up 2 or 3 vest/chestrigs identically with different mag pouches. rifle 556 mags, smg mags and 308 mags. I've been waiting for these because #1 it actually saves me money from buying 3 of the same chestrigs #2 saves space in my locker in the armory. #3 most importantly looking cool 😎
Love that you guys are taking "end user configuration" to a whole new level. Really innovative, and it's something I think the entire industry will follow as mission sets become more unique and varied
Adam is such a salty vet dude I love it. Good knowledge, solid product descriptions, with a hint of “we did this shit in OEF, get over yourself nerds”.
These look amazingly versatile, I'll probably pick up a few just to have. Of course any specialty pouch will be better for what it's designed for, but these are an amazing take on the "jack of all trades" kinda thing. Plus they look dope with the ghillie like texture. Definite must have!
For me, from the civilian defense/ militiaman perspective, this is a great pouch for keeping one rig for multiple weapon systems. Being able to run AK and AR weapons platforms (among others) is a huge thing in my opinion. Another great product from Spiritus.
Cool piece of kit, absolutely a step forward. Whoever came up with using those cuts to get stretch out of an otherwise static, stable material deserves a raise, no doubt. Brilliant application. Edited to add: I'd be interested as to the durability of those cuts over time. How well do the inside corners wear?
I don’t think I will ever buy a normal mag pouch again probably this only. Great timing as well for y’all considering the new weapon system for the army with new mags that currently do not fit in any issued gear.
I was screwing around with mime... I found if you wanna use this as a pouch to retain a single mag and use it as a fast mag, stick a single Haley plastic mag pouch insert in there. It sits in there perfectly flush and the velcro securely keeps It in there. You dönt even need to tighten the bungiee cord on the pouch. Really good fit. I swear it's like the incerts were intentionality made for these pouches. It works to well for it not to be.
This is genius. Now we can setup a "behind-enemy-lines"/battlefield-pick-up friendly vest. I'm probably getting one for coms, and a few for precision rifles.
Love the Grand thumb collaboration. But the real question is can you just buy the scrim flap separately? And if so can it be fitted to other gear such as a BFG ten speed mag pouch or other Spiritus system products?
I switch from 556 to 7.62x39 often, and I have been using open top mag pouches with bungee cord~ however... This looks like it will be my next purchase
I can pretty much carry everything I need with all your products on my LV119 except my taser x26p. I keep it on my belt because I don't really trust having it in my MK4 or MK5 with the 556 insert because the safety is exposed and I'm afraid it will get turned off when I bump it on stuff. Not sure if you would ever come up with a solution for this but that is the only thing about my kit that bugs me. Love everything else. Also, love this product
The geometric cuts would be excellent for absorbing energy in shoulder straps on a plate carrier. They would also look sick AF. I'd buy the shit out of it. Ordering a Multicam Spud Pouch when they come back in stock. Love the design.
this must be the new pouch you mentioned when i asked about something. just when i thought i ordered everything i could use from you....time for another order.
Just got mine today. Overall its good but I don't like the molle straps. The whole pouch I believe is a cordura fabric, but the straps are a cloth like fabric, just wish the straps were made of the same durable material similar to how blue force does theirs
Nice call out to the Thumb! Couple things that I've noticed about this product is it seems more for CQB or quick/functional access. Seems a good product, but how does it perform for off-camber shooting positions? GI crawl? What happens if you pull one of two in your MP5 mags? Do they fall out? I've had some of the problems you're describing but not sure how this product fixes it. Love your stuff and the videos! Keep em coming!
Sup Spiritus! Question. As a british person what do you mean by "carrot". Me and the guys in the office are trying to work this one out 😆. Sick product your brining out though.
Please do a 83 pattern remake. Just 5 spud pouches across the front and a map pocket and velcro field on the back. That'd be perfect for lots of applications.
The immediate thought I had with that flap is that it'd catch and snag on any protruding or other sharp bits on equipment, like even just a baseplate on a magazine. Did you find that to be an issue in testing?
Spiritus, we, the People, really need a gucci tactical beer rig. Sure, 12 beers fit in the cooler, but that's all the way on the other side of the grill. I need 6 mounted on my person at all times. For safety and security purposes, of course.
8:47 he didn't steal anything; that was just an unofficial requisition 😏 You should so ship them with potatoes or consider making a Spiritus Systems Spud mascot 🤔
Would the Spud pouch be equal height as the mags in the MK5? Wondering if it’ll look wonky if I attach the spud pouch on the front instead of on a wing
@@SpiritusSystems well, clearly, you need to get like 5 or 6 each in a few different colors. sometimes you're in the mood for multicam, sometimes ranger green.
Shit guys y’all need to chill. I’m going broke with all this new hotness. The spud would’ve came in real handy when switching from AR mags over to the galil mags. No fun times for me anymore so I guess I dont NEED this but fuck that, I NEED this! Hahaha
The Garand Thumb reference killed me
Good
When Spiritus knows we want flannel daddy wherever we go.
Those geometric cuts in the fabric are a pretty genius idea! Might have to look into getting something from y’all to add to my plate carrier. Much love from Texas.
Please do!
I just got off an airfield where I had to carry three different radios and watching him pop that Motorola in there about made my toes curl!
YOU MADE IT FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED A GOOD POUCH FOR ALL WEAPONS THAT YOU MAY USE,ONE POUCH FOR ALL THAT WILL WORK WELL FOR YOU.
This is honestly THE pouch I've been looking for, for years. Hell yeah.
Effective versatility can never be over done. I’m impressed. Extra water for sustainment if needed, two extra mags if needed, radio. Nice job guys
Love that you guys are taking "end user configuration" to a whole new level. Really innovative, and it's something I think the entire industry will follow as mission sets become more unique and varied
"What's the point of it all?" is the perfect point. Addressed adroitly good sir!
Adam is such a salty vet dude I love it. Good knowledge, solid product descriptions, with a hint of “we did this shit in OEF, get over yourself nerds”.
Spiritus Systems, y'all are bad ass! Love y'all's ingenuity and products. 💯
From a first look I wasn’t too excited but the more the video went on I’ve become a believer !
Same. Just thought it was an over engineered mag pouch but this allows for some real versatility
I have a few SPUD pouches and I really like them. Great idea, well made, functional, recommended.
These look amazingly versatile, I'll probably pick up a few just to have. Of course any specialty pouch will be better for what it's designed for, but these are an amazing take on the "jack of all trades" kinda thing. Plus they look dope with the ghillie like texture. Definite must have!
YES. I've been waiting for these!!!

You get a like for becoming Daddy Grand Thumb and also making something for the AK user too.
Looking forward to picking up two of these for my GT's Recce Rig. Seems promising!
Stoked for you to try them out
This is the Game changer.
Love the amount of innovation in this industry lately
Just as the sig NGSW is going to be feilded. Good timing
Always forward

That GarandThumb part got me xD
I don’t think I will ever buy a normal mag pouch again probably this only. Great timing as well for y’all considering the new weapon system for the army with new mags that currently do not fit in any issued gear.
Innovation at its finest boys
This will great for me to be able to switch out 5.56 and AICS mags and the occasional smoke. Thanks guys! Can’t wait to get some.
Right on!
Or a box of cigars
I was screwing around with mime...

Looks like a logical evolution of the old ATS double M4 mag pouches. Less niche than the First Spear Multi Mag pouches I have as well. I like it.
Ahead of the curve when it comes to the NGSW. I like it! Way more cost effective for me in the coming years whenever we get issued it.
amazing design on that pouch! the flap really looks innovative
i fucking love the pangolin flap.
Nice, perfect for my Schmeisser 60rd magazine :)
Ohooo Yea - need that for a ASM-HG / MDM-Mk14 💥
This is genius.
Now we can setup a "behind-enemy-lines"/battlefield-pick-up friendly vest.
I'm probably getting one for coms, and a few for precision rifles.
Might have to pick one up for my work radio.
Next piece I’m buying for sure
damn bro this is exactly what ive been looking for hell yeah
Is this the calico drum pouch i have been waiting for? I can finally complete my 90s scifi web gear
Love the Grand thumb collaboration. But the real question is can you just buy the scrim flap separately? And if so can it be fitted to other gear such as a BFG ten speed mag pouch or other Spiritus system products?
Grand thumb edit 😂 is awesome

could have used one of these a million times over. sweet
I would love to see this as a placard on the front for Velcro of the lv119
this is perfect i want to be able to switch between AKs ARs and AR 10s as well as a bunch of other obscure mag types and this is exactly what i need
This seems great if u want a one type of mag pouch for all I would be interesting in trying these
The geometric cuts would be excellent for absorbing energy in shoulder straps on a plate carrier. They would also look sick AF.
I'd buy the shit out of it.
Ordering a Multicam Spud Pouch when they come back in stock. Love the design.
Thanks so much for your support
Finally a pouch for those bulky sim-grenades
this must be the new pouch you mentioned when i asked about something. just when i thought i ordered everything i could use from you....time for another order.
I personally plan to put actual potatoes in mine. As an Irish American you can never be too prepared. Another famine is always around the corner.
Might hook these in the sides of my chest rig, one for radio and another for 2 mags for a recce set up
Sounds awesome
This is genius
I bet in a few months I'll see loadouts with only these pouches
Just got mine today. Overall its good but I don't like the molle straps. The whole pouch I believe is a cordura fabric, but the straps are a cloth like fabric, just wish the straps were made of the same durable material similar to how blue force does theirs
A pouch that'll support mounting MCS to my 3 day pack? I think the spud will work better than the canteen pouch.
looks like a good magnifier pocket.. maybe even a flashlight next to a magnifier.
very interesting stuff
Glad you enjoyed it

Damn the spuds badass👍
Love you guys keep doin you!
Thanks!
Is there any plan to secure the flap via buckle instead of velcro on the outside? Maybe a V2?
Love it.
The all pouch!
Really nice pouch, I cry myself to sleep every night because I can’t find them anywhere in France.
Someone send this man a pouch, Spiritus are you listening?
Good Job
Thanks!
Awesome pouch. For sure going on kit. I see there is Velcro on inside, how does it hold kydex insert?
Just needs to be in stock in the colors I want lol
Sup Spiritus! Question. As a british person what do you mean by "carrot". Me and the guys in the office are trying to work this one out 😆. Sick product your brining out though.
I waited the whole video for you to put that water botter in the pouch!!! Was like ok exactly what I need the nothing
What kind of stress testing have you done on the flap cuts? How many cycles of stretching can they endure?
Be pretty cool if yall added a belt loop attachment like the jsta pouch
They sold out already for many of the colors, particularly multicam. Is there any guestimate on when they will be back in stock?
i am going to keep 2 boxes of mike&ike's in my spud pouch
How about a longer spud pouch for bottles or stuff of that size?
That’s pretty cool Make scrim like that for helmet
;)
For now I am going to be carrying water bottle (16oz Nalgene) or maybe a couple 10 round 308 pmags
Do it up!
think it would fit the 32oz nalgene?
Please do a 83 pattern remake. Just 5 spud pouches across the front and a map pocket and velcro field on the back. That'd be perfect for lots of applications.
Or you can just put 6 spuds on a 34A chest rig, with extra mags stuffed into the panels.
It fits a 16oz nalgene, but will it fit a 32oz? Maybe I missed that part
it will not some 20/24 oz bottles will fit however
The immediate thought I had with that flap is that it'd catch and snag on any protruding or other sharp bits on equipment, like even just a baseplate on a magazine. Did you find that to be an issue in testing?
Probably not
Very similar to the Crye 5.56/mbitr pouch.
Spiritus, we, the People, really need a gucci tactical beer rig. Sure, 12 beers fit in the cooler, but that's all the way on the other side of the grill. I need 6 mounted on my person at all times. For safety and security purposes, of course.
8:47 he didn't steal anything; that was just an unofficial requisition 😏
You should so ship them with potatoes or consider making a Spiritus Systems Spud mascot 🤔
Would you ever consider selling the flap portion seperatly?
They DO!!
I buy so much damn stuff from you guys or SierraTac lol. I love all of it!!
Would the Spud pouch be equal height as the mags in the MK5? Wondering if it’ll look wonky if I attach the spud pouch on the front instead of on a wing
100 round carton of 7.62 linked? Dimensions are roughly 6x3x5.
Will this become available in a stack setup? Like a full 3 pouch placard?
Oh man I want one, or two....maybe three or four
Why not 7?
@@SpiritusSystems Hmmm good point 👌
@@SpiritusSystems well, clearly, you need to get like 5 or 6 each in a few different colors. sometimes you're in the mood for multicam, sometimes ranger green.
This seems like a better execution of the crye smart pouches.
Sds 100 needs this pouch
A carrot? I’m a freaking onion, Adam.
How well does this work with a baofeng uv-5r? I have reservations about size (as all men do lol).
you can fit three hot pockets in one spud pouch.. also important
So I’d be concerned about the flaps ripping over time, has there been any testing on how long they last?
That’s my concern, too. Gonna grab one and put it through it’s paces. Might do a video on one after some heavy usage over time.
Possibly a snag, water/sand ingress point also. Interested to see what testing reveals.
Would this work for P90 mags?
Will these fit three 5.56 mags?
F'ing Genius!
Shit guys y’all need to chill. I’m going broke with all this new hotness. The spud would’ve came in real handy when switching from AR mags over to the galil mags. No fun times for me anymore so I guess I dont NEED this but fuck that, I NEED this! Hahaha
Will it hold LE Motorola style radios? And can it mount to a belt without being awkward on the hips
This might actually be a stupid question - will it fit a jetboil set?
Nope
Could you hypothetically use those flaps behind a placard to make a sort of njpc situation?
Absolutely. Works really well with the mk5
