Yooo, just wanted to say I LOVE both your Achilles animatics! Also, your explanation of the plot is so interesting that it could be turned into a great fanfiction. Do you have any ideas of what such a plot would entail? Such as what kinds of gods or monsters he would be fighting?
interesting. why would they think that by not letting Achilles see Patroclus ever again if he fails the tasks he would calm his rage and heartbreak that is a manace to fate itself? wouldn't it just make it worse? or maybe he would TRIGGER WARNING kill himself if he fails? does Hades mean not even in the underworld by ''ever again''? Hello! So this was my graduation project! My idea was to make a storyboard about a game based on Achilles . My story was that Achilles was enraged after his lover's death to the point of mass genocide, in my research for my project i discovered he destroyed half of the trojan troupe and even got close to killing a water god (my research was almost a year ago so i may be wrong slightly) But my twist of the story is that the gods got involved and tried to stop achilled by baiting him to stop fighting. Of course its a game so i can't just make him die and reunite with his love; so Hades made sure to use Patroculus as a way to get him to follow his lead and basically put him in hard scenarios where Hades thought he would die. My plan was to make storyboards of achilles fighting gods, i started one (that you see a bit in my showreel) but after technical difficulties never ended it! I also sort of based the change of story to Eurydice and Orpheus' story about how he was dragging his lover out of hel to be alive together but made it more action packed! Sorry for the long reply, i hope i helped and I'd be happy to answer more questions :)
