Mini Documentary | Micronauts - A comic based on Action Figures

In September 1978 with a cover date of January 1979, Marvel Comics released the first issue of the "Micronauts", a comic based on Action Figures. The team of "Micronauts" or Mekronaftes in Greek, appeared for the first time in Greece in 1987 in the issue # 345 of Spider-Man from KABANA HELLAS. In this video I describe the events behind the creation of the "Micronauts" and give a short review of the short history of the Micronauts in Greece through the Spider-Man magazine of the KABANA HELLAS publications.

It was actually a violation of American law to make a TV show based on a toy line until the law changed in 1981.
That's why there was no Micronauts cartoon.

@@thefwoc many people don't realize that, because we could have toys based on movies and TV shows, but not TV shows based on toys. It depends on where it originated.
So we could have Planet of The Apes or Star Trek toys, that was legal, but you couldn't start as a toy and become a TV show. The Federal Communications Commission considered it predatory advertising on children to make shows about toys.
