You MUST mix young talent with veterans and I truly believe the Phillies have 4-5 guys in the minors that will play a HUGE role going forward with team and 3 of them will be ready this year or next. Painter, Miller and Crawford are the future and Tait will be the catcher of the future.

Fan of another club who likes your show - good job as usual. Perspective from the outside: Phillies aren’t desperate for starting pitching. You guys have great starters. Red Sox are desperate. You don’t need to give away your best prospects for a lesser need. I think you dodged a bullet.

Appreciate you watching and agree. It has been surprising to see the Phillies seeming to be prioritizing pitching but hopefully another bat or two is coming soon. Getting an everyday starter in the outfield should be priority number one in my mind - Sean

The Phillies window looks like it’s closing. I do feel that the Phillies need to do something. Maybe Luis Robert he has two team options after this year.

Phillies digest, Great channel. I think that Kyle Tucker would help the Phillies quite a bit but other teams like the yankees and Cubs would like him also. But in a year he could walk to free agency like Juan Soto!

Why trade for a player and lose high level prospects if you can sign a free agent and lose no one.

It seems like the money teams have more $ ,and more good young players to give up in trades…I’m so happy our young kids will stay here….Now, soft shoe Dave can focus on picking up good Asian pitchers, which are as good, and free (bat on ball, not rally killing bats) agents that fit the lineup..You have four good starters, bring up Painter, limit him to 5 innings and pair him with another 3-4 inning pitcher and between an Asian (fundamentally sound) pitcher, you’ve got success..

I think phills should offer bohm, Rojas and Abel for tucker, extend him at least 5 years after that. Then, either sign Bregman to reunite Bregman and tucker, or trade for Arenado as a decent replacement for bohm

It's taken YEARS to rebuild the Phillies farm system. I don't want a team to rob our future for someone who might only be with us for 2 or three years.
I'm old enough to remember trading away Ryne Sandberg to the Cubs for short term help, and all Sandberg did was make it to the Hall of Fame.
Our top 3 prospects are VERY promising!!!!!!

They need to keep their top prospects we may not win it next year but we need to have some youth on the team. I think you add an outfielder and more bullpen top help painter probably is gonna get some burn on the club this year

I see Schwarber getting extended. I don't see JT being extended, especially because they have Eduardo Tait in the minors

Kyle is already a DH and a good one at that but JT is 34 and knees are goin.. Kyle will be kept as a dh in my opinion for a few years but JT is on his last year with the Phil's...

Still think he's being "smart" after the Tucker trade??? I don't. I think Dombrowski is losing big time. We're about to be left behind and waste Harper and Co's primes.

Crochet has one of the best fastballs in baseball. Phils farm system only consists of 3 players any other team wants. It takes good players to get good players. Especially at crochet's caliber.
