Nice shot of the soldier sailor monument.
Finding the right object/environment for the 360 cameras makes all the difference. And, that structure is perfect. Makes an incredible video that needs no explanation. One of the best uses of an insta360 I've seen.
There are some clever minds behind Betafpv, consistency and quality, not so sure about that :-)

and this is why gear on commercial aircraft have a switch that gives telemetry 'green lights'. I'd really want to see that as part of the vtx overlay next to battery; gear commanded position, and gear actual position.

I have a Newbeedrone Invisi360 and I'm terrified to fly without the plastic lens guards, for reasons which are quite obvious from your cinebird videos. Low light is not good, and direct sunlight creates a hideous glare through the lens guards. You can obviously still scratch the lens guards on impact, but those are $5 a piece to replace as opposed to scrapping a $400 camera. I really enjoy it, but maybe I haven't yet found the ideal flight conditions. Perhaps a windless, bright overcast day might yield the best results but I haven't had a chance to test it exactly like this. Sort of limiting but I love the potential.

Looks a nifty little rig but that price. As for the banding when it is using one camera it goes away so i'm thinking it might be a software issue. Also you can buy clear lense protectors for them.

Maybe the way u landed the landing gear push the servo, servo's are locked, I believe when you disarm, it won't go back out, requested controller position.
I like the concept of this kind of drone, but I already have the fully-fledged Insta360 One R with 360 lens mod. I don't like the fact that I'd need to buy a dedicated camera for this. I'd prefer a frame that had space for the camera I already have. To be fair, this is a niche application in a niche hobby (and it's only a hobby to me), so if I were to go for an "invisible" drone setup, it would have to be a stand out model for me to stump up the cash. Great vid as always, though.

Hi Paul, great video. Answered a lot of my questions. Just wondering, wouldn't the SD card be accesible (if tight) through the battery bay on that side? Might be easier with a printed tool to load/unload it. Just a thought.
Also, I wonder if the stick on lens protectors are still a useful addition for this. I noticed in a couple of the BetaFPV promo shots they've obviously mounted them. Dunno if they impact the quality too badly though. I know the GoPro MAX ones are surprisingly good if they are pristine.
Would love to see that kickstand spring loaded, so that if shit Hits the fan it would immediately engage with the disarm button, sure you'd need to fly it back to re .. ahem.. reCOCK the kickstand everytime you engaged it but that's not that bad.

Paul I see you flying all these loud CineWhoops with no ear protection. Give it a try and use those foam plugs from CVS or local hardware store to protect your hearing. All it takes is one session to get Tinnitus.
Landing without breaking the camera?
Use a cushion.

Help Nurk! I got my Pavo360 and i cant get the servo switch to bind to my controller, Running a Tango 2. Ive got everything else set up except for the reason i bought the drone, the damn landing gear,
It should just be on aux 4 (channel 8) by default. They have instructions on their website for it
@@NURKFPV very minimal instructions. im stuck. I dunno if its my lack of knowledge around my Tango 2 or what.

Thanks for testing. Indeed some crazy shots are possible with these cameras but man... it's expensive... and lenses are so exposed it's hard to pull the trigger without knowing for sure there's a job that'll need it. Since the camera is made for FPV they sould've made it with repairability in mind (make it easy to change lenses)
You seriously screwed up by landing it on the pavement... kickstand is usefull for takeoff.... Landing has to be done on a soft material or by catching anyway.

basically i like this concept. buuuut, 470 bucks for thr drone & 400 bucks for the cam (which only makes sense when using with the drone)..... i don't know.... nice idea, but in my opinion this solution is still not ready for "public" use.
Hey Nurk this comment has nothing to do with this video. None of my friends watch F-1 racing. I just can't believe f1 broke their own rule and changed the outcome of the race and the championship. Being a racer and a champion and an f1 fan would you accept a victory like that. I mean, if you won a race and discovered that some rule was ignored to give you that win would you accept the "victory".

Price is just way too high. BetaFPV has good ideas, but generally their quality is not so good. BetaFPV 95 V3 out of the box was crap. Then they made a “refresh”. Then they recommended you buy different motors, then the Pavo. Something like that. Wasted my money on that thing. It just sits.

For a drone that can only use one specific camera and a camera that’s only useful with one drone, at THAT cost in this economy. It’s a no for me.
