Crazy value! I never expected so much stuff for that amount of money! Especially from Capital Games...
It's also a little over $100 to get 5⭐ to Finalizer or Raddus from the 1250 crystal packs.
$50 SK pack will let you get KK who can solo the EP event to 7⭐ for a SLKR req.
After this you only need 3 R7 to complete the reqs for Rey (BB, RJT, stick Rey) and SLKR (EP, KRU, OG Kylo).
This is crazy. I'm glad I went for LV and JMK first. Now I'll have Rey, SLKR, LV, JMK, and Exec in less than a year of starting.
These are great if they stay around for new players to catch up and speed up. They get GLS and Hyperdrive and you can be useful for a guild

This could be bad for the game in the long run. Most money grabs by companies do not end well.
Actually, it'll be very good for the game and the community as a whole. More people playing the game means more people spending money. Without people spending money there is no swgoh.
This can only mean one thing, the game goes terrible in terms of new players and money making. Konami did the same back in the day with their Yu-Gi-Oh Online game. They started offering the packs for 5$ to milk the player base as much as they could and 6 months later they shut it down.
Nah - game is still makin $6-7 million per month. About to double that or more
I was just complaining the other week about how expensive character packs are and how little chards you get from them. I guess they heard me. I will be more specific in the future and request the Revans and specifically not Resistance and First Order. But what hurts the most is you can get 29 R5 characters along with many ships 7* and all abilities lvl7 which is big for ships all for $50 while for Starkiller (a character that I actually like and want eventually) you get 4 characters for $50. And they can't even square it bc you get 2 GLs versus less than a whole team.
They give u Rey and then they give you her best counter since its a more recent character thats why its more expensive

Nooch, I’m maybe halfway to executor, ships are almost there and a few characters need relics still. But, I bought the SK and SLKR packs, and I feel like I should maybe pause executor for a little bit, farm on the side when I can, and focus on getting SLKR?? What do you think, I know we should always finish our farms, but this is an insane change to the game lol. Thanks !
I'm in the exact same spot rn and I'm just going for SLKR and farming the ships for executor on the side as its going to take me way longer to get them up than it will to get SLKR.👍

Yeah, that ain't happening, my friend lol. They specifically said this is a test, and if the response is well received, they'll continue to do this for "older toons". I can see the Revans being released like this in the future, but JMK/Jabba will be very far down the road.

Honestly in real talk this is a well known corporate maneuver in order to get people off of F2P. Bc once someone buys 1 thing it is so much easier to get someone to buy more. When under capitalism one must always be very wary of a deal that is too good to be true or that is way better than is normal.

what they did is they made the packs super cheap, so everyone buys them. What you soon realise is that they won't hold much value at all, because everyone has the same characters. This was extremely cunning. Instead what they did was pushing everyone into mid game, so they can push out more toons in the future, and yes I suspect that is the plan with these packs. CG is not doing this move randomly probably a bunch of GL:s ready to be shipped.
I had a bunch of these to relic levels and still bought most of the packs just because it is worth the $10 for me to relic 5 even 2 characters. That's 3-4 months of farming that I just got accelerated. I'm really a bit nervous to see how this goes because they are going to remove a lot of the competitiveness if everyone has all the toys. GAC rankings might be permanently stuck wherever you are because you won't be able to advance very fast if everyone has the same characters.

This was such a bonus to wake up to! Although now I'm torn between carrying on my GL Leia farm or pivoting to get SKLR and Rey first. Those two make sense timewise, it's only four characters each now to unlock both! Still need their capital ships though 🤔
Same issue. I need to relic mon mothma a couple more times and then I can go for JML. I was going to go for GL Leia after him, but now I’m thinking I might go for Rey (still need to get the raddus though)

Well, I’m just going to get SLKR instead of Jabba. Better yet, it’s only take me about a month or too when I buy the pack. (Still need to get finalizer)
If Starkiller was was $10 I'd go for it.
It added about 900.000 GP to my roster without the Starkiller pack! Finalizer tho...
I like these packs and think they are a big W for the playerbase, but i just hope they dont do this for every gl because there needs to be stuff in the game that is hard to get even in a couple years. Otherwise the game just isnt fun anymore
they won't and a Jabba pack aint going to be 10 dollars my friend I can tell you that much :D put on two digits and we are in the ball park is my guess.

Went from light spender of just two crystal purchases to a real light spender getting the raddus bundle to finish Bossk and the Starkiller bundle because I was going to work toward him after Jabba anyway. It added about 700k GP. Sorry you anyone I go against next GA who is in carbonite 4 who doesn't get any of these bundles. I have a lot of work to figure out squads and ship teams. I wonder what kinds of bundles will come around next time they do this. Also which is better the first order bb-8 bundle or the resistance bundle?
Haha...I just got Rey a couple weeks ago. It didn't bother me much. I've always looked at Rey/SLKR as the most dead end GL farms. I'm not saying the GLs are bad, but rather the usefulness of the characters you have to gear, associated faction fleets, and overlap with other big farms, I think their farms are two of the worst GL farms for an overall well rounded roster.
Overall I think the big value here is these packs are basically a 50 dollar ticket to the mid game for newer players, which I think is good even if its mildly annoying to SLKR rush accounts. Even then...if I had a SLKR rush account, my annoyance would be offset by getting a quick/cheap Rey. I think the most annoying though would be if you had 2 GLs right now...and they were SLKR and Rey lol. Once these packs go away they should just make them available for 30 days on all newly created accounts.
While I'm a fan of these packs, its mainly because like I said, its a ticket to the mid game, and I've viewed these as dead end farms for a long time, I hope we don't see similar packs for JML/SEE in the near future because of overlap with other farms. Cheap ticket to the mid game is cool...cheap ticket to the end game not so much.
I decided to fork out cash for starkiller pack. Returning playing getting 4 solid characters at R5 when I only have some reqs for Jedi knight Luke is really going to help my account. It’s basically my hyperdrive bundle lol .
Nooch can you make a vid explaining how to put these characters into teams being main teams with GLs or dodgy little teams in the mean time, idk what yo do with many of the characters
Nothing like 20+ relic 5 characters with no mods.. I have no idea when the Zeta situation is cleaned up. For a mobile game, it is quite a bargain. In this case the game will be the plan on how to fix the mess that it created. :)
it will still be a while before unlocking Rey, there is still a decent amount of work that needs done.
Yea my f2p streak is finally gonna end after playing for 3 years. $10 for McDonalds?… Hell by me the cheapest McDonald’s meal is $13.
That 20k power per pack is a visual glitch… I got 1mil GP in total that put me straight in proving grounds

I’m generally pissed they would release such packs, half of the game is the grind and they’ve literally made a shortcut, it’s taken me 6 months to gain around 1 mil gp and last night with about $60 I gained 1 mil also I’m kinda sad cos I only need to relic darth talon and I get starkiller

they wont do it for Wat, that's a guild achievement. This is for players trying to enter mid game and farm conquest, that's the mid part of the game. Honestly arguably the most fun as well
