I remember when I watched the film I thought it was VERY sexual for a movie 😳 and I think it was in a LARGE part and thanks to Marlon Brando’s Stanley Kowalski 😍🔥😱🥵 the man was LITERALLY one of the most ATTRACTIVE men on God’s green EARTH! 😏
@@SexySkoChickyes & no… the subtext is already there bet Blanche & Stanley; the one thing I remember my teacher (along w his big head) in high school saying about Blanche, as she stood in the doorway in a partially see thru nightgown smoking her cigarette, was that she was “very sexual” lol

It's bad enough that you don't spell out the words Rest In Peace and instead use an acronym best reserved for small tombstones, but you don't even bother to capitalize the letters in the acronym. Not very heartfelt.
@@blitz3727Basically Stanley doesn't like that she's pretending to be 'high society' but the truth is Blanche and her sister ARE high society. He feels Stella and Blanche look down on him for being low class. Because he despises Blanche, he confronts her with her lies, then SA's her.

Deliberate Cruelty is not forgivable
1:31 Marlon Brando is a phenomenal actor: that look is in his eyes...
and for SOME reason I would NOT be offended by that….😂
Pretty gutsy for 1951.

Brilliant acting.
Too real. Too triggering. Cannot watch much even after all the passing years.

He did a really good job in this one.
Fantastic acting 🎉

Tf is wrong with you? I don’t think you’ve actually studied this play or even listened to the scene. She’s trying to move by and then he rapes her
Classic🎬
The scene of he eyes... her 1:02 and his 1:31
what they were talking
talking they were English
Comeu
yes he DID 😳 Stanley was soo GORGEOUS! 😍
Everyone has an overacting aunt like her! LOL
Why did she get him riled up?
She did not rile him up. He’s a violent person, he hurt her and his wife because he wanted to.
@@dotcom3015Simp. Blanche was provoking him the entire movie.

She’s very clearly mentally unwell- a good man would not be turned on by that. His actions are no one’s fault but his own.
@@ElonMuskrat-my8jy no that’s his wife’s sister he’s wrong and abusive most of the movie . He beat up Stella while she was pregnant.
Clifton Webb should have played Stanley.
