The first games boss battle was so damn perfect, they tried to replicate it in some way in almost every game but you cant recapture that magic like that without the original talent.
I don't think they were trying to recapture the magic.
They seem to steer away from more badass things in their games to keep their games more family friendly

Who could have thought it? Bowser, the very most greatest villain from Mario series, the big old plumber himself wasn't his first enemy but actually Yoshi beat him. That just makes Yoshi my even more favorite character from Mario Universe xD

Bruh, I didn't think about it.
Well yes, but fury Bowser is much larger than any of these forms, and Kamek didn't have much to do with fury Bowser, it was the goop.
The orginal Giant baby bowser was the scariest because he keeps walking to you. And if he gets hit he runs even faster making it more terrifying.
Even if Yoshi's New Island didn't have the same feel, I at least appreciate that they recreated the design to 3D. If only other people can recreate the original battle like that.

Out of all the Yoshi's Island's final bosses, the original Yoshi's Island seems to be the most badass, intimading, and memorable of all. Heck, the original Yoshi's Island has a really amazing heavy Metal music in the final boss. All the other Yoshi games's final boss are quite disappointement in comparison. Wooly World and Crafted has pretty decent Final bosses admittedly, and has appropiate pretty good music but still doesn't hold the candle to the final boss music of the original Yoshi's Island.
Tbh Megs baby bowser’s fight felt like a finale to me between Yoshi and baby bowser, because in crafted world he doesn’t use kamek’s magic, he used the power of the gems holding the crafted world together. While the first one’s final boss was great, I fell like crafted world had a better “feel” to it. Both battles are really good

In his defense, that actually is a pretty awesome robot the Stardream Stone built there. Shame he didn't think to add "invincible" (or at least "egg-proof") to that description when he made his wish.

Never thought about it before, but it makes sense that Bowser came from where the Yoshi's did, considering it's called 'Dinosaur Land', and Bowser seems kinda dino-like himself.

I feel bad for Bowser. He doesn’t have a dad, or a mom, or any family. He just has Kamek to take care of him, and well, Kamek’s not that good of a care-taker.
I really would like to see a Mario game revealing the origins of Bowser: who are his biological parents, why he is the only adult one of his species, why Kamek took care of Bowser when Bowser isn't a Magikoopa and why and by who he was crowned King of the Koopas.
No wonder he always kidnaps Princess Peach in almost every Mario game...

But I’m not done yet, the only koopas capable of breathing fire are, Bowser and bowser jr. AND SOME OF THE KOOPALINGS. My theory is that the koopalings are part of the Bowser species but aren’t linked in any other way

My first Yoshi game was Wooly world, but I couldn’t get any nostalgia from it.
I think i did this Boss at least 7 Times in a row. But its nearly impossible to 100% Every level in these games

The reason crafted world is in my top 3 yoshi games list is because it's the ONLY game in the yoshi series that changed the final boss. Every yoshi game up until crafted world had a somewhat unique first phase and then bowser jr grows huge and the second phase was ALWAYS the exact same. I'm so glad they changed up the formula a bit in crafted
