I'm a rocket science student studying in ISRO's institute. My personal experience of watching Bigg Boss was exactly how Dhruv mentioned. I had watched two seasons, just out of curiosity. But when I got deeper into the episodes, I could clearly see how the makers manipulated everything just to favor the contestants to provide more "masala". Rules are bent and even changed for some people. For example, when Madhurima hit Vishal, she was evicted. But when Vikas pushed Arshi into the pool, he was called back again. Both are forms of violence and are not allowed in the show.
Moreover, this show is really spoiling the mental state of the youth, which I realized over time. This show is just making the Indian public more intolerant, insensitive, and arrogant. This is just because these are the only qualities that are celebrated and rewarded in the show. People who have introverted personalities are not at all respected and are told that they are not "performing well". How can one change his personality which he has developed over the years just for a show? And there are many many many more things that I can't include just in one comment.
I will just urge the Indian public to take a step for themselves and a step against Bigg Boss. You may not agree with me now, but you will clearly see how watching this kind of content will affect you in the future, just as it had impacted me when I was watching it. Consume healthy, be healthy. Cheers!

To be honest, i agree with you i have watched one season of bigg boss because it was so hyped up at that time but slowly slowly i realised it was affecting my mental health i was getting aggressive fr no reason..the fights of bb house was making me violent towards everyone i was getting sick by watching it..i also feel that bb makers manipulate everyone and everything..they show that being violent over someone is okay.. cursing someone is okay..i couldn't digest what i just experienced while watching the whole show...it took me a few months to be normal again.
Im from Bangladesh, as a citizen of another country my opinion is..this show ridiculous .. it's not only harmful for Indians but also for us..this show is also popular in Bangladesh.. but a lot of us thinks that this is harmful fr people it is destroying our rising youth..my humble request to Indians.. please take necessary steps to ban this show..this show is useless please.. please.. please i requesting everyone please..stop them!
