- A short overview of the Battle of Ball's Bluff, fought on October 21, 1861 just outside of Leesburg, Virginia between Union forces under the command of Brig. Gen. Charles Stone and Col. Edward Baker and Confederate forces under the command of Col. Nathan G. Evans.
