Here’s my two cents on this: First of all, disclaimer: I like ESFPs they are nice people and a lot of fun to be around. I don’t think any type is better or worse than any other, I am just laying out the differences. Expected (stereotypical): ESTP = work out regularly and eat properly, get results orientated ESFP = starts and stops working out a lot, tries all kinda of weird diets, etc. ESTP = active and take risks, but somewhat calculates the risks and exerts some minimal amount of caution ESFP = active, takes crazy risks ESTP = like nice stuff, but practical and cheap ESFP = like fancy stuff, expensive ESTP = won’t get feeling hurt so easily and bounces back quicker if they do ESFP = will get feeling hurt easier and might take a while to get over it Ironically (contrary to stereotype): ESTP = more likely to accommodate annoying behaviors from people (if they have a good reason to) ESFP = more likely to not do so ESTP = drives fast and well ESFP = drives even faster 😂 and still very well 😊 Another thing I noticed is that a lot of ESTPs (myself included) tend to listen to podcasts while driving (or do other shit during driving). ESFP might listen to music. ESTP = quick to act ESFP = quicker to act (i think the quickest to act type, not 100% sure… ENFP are contenders for this title) Of course all of this shit is just stereotypes and in reality we are trying to jam the entire global population into 16 boxes. These boxes will be very wide and encompassing, we are all individuals in the end. But… if you are unsure how to type yourself you can use my comment as a practical starting point. Writing this comment took all my attention span, so I’ll go lift some weights now. P.S. Here’s another one: ESTP = more likely to write this long ass comment.
Agree with most as an esfp, but don’t with the expensive things. I don’t really care about that. I prefer things that are down to earth, but bright. Fun things.
@@sanghitadey8475 Any two types can make it work with proper communication and maturity, but I do think some types are more compatible than others. Estps and Esfps can certainly make it work and are likely to have a good attraction to one another as well as fun times and similar senses of humour. Where they might go south is with the Ti/Fe Te/Fi difference as it can cause a bit of conflict and maybe a lack of understanding of where the other is coming from. The same Se dominant function might also cause them to want to "dominate" the argument and win it which might cause some resentment for one another; Se doms tend to have egos, I've found (I'm not hating, just an observation). But I'm neither of those types, I'm just speaking in accordance with both the socionics theory and my own personal observations.
I find male ESFPs more caring than ESTPs (some may portray to having feminine personality traits). ESTP males are definitely more masculine; their interests would be action related like mixed-martial arts, boxing, fitness etc., while ESFPs lean more towards art/craft, hospitality, interior designing, psychology, fashion etc. So, I agree to what you said about ESTPs being a more "bro" vibe than ESFP. Btw, thanks for the vid; I enjoyed watching it.
That was hilarious lol congrats on finishing that story without having a laugh attack :) That part where you described ESTP having their biases and ESFP letting people have their biases though, that's a clear cut example of the subjectivist - objectivist dichotomy meaning, Ti-Fe is subjectivist and Fi-Te is objectivist. So, you actually have them mixed up. Actually ESTP would let people have their biases and ESFP would know, there is no multiple truths. Types like ESTP, ESFJ, ENFJ, INTP etc. are all subjectivists and would let you be. Types like ESFP, ENTJ, ESTJ, INTJ etc. are objectivists. They wouldn't just let you be, even if they try to hide it.
For me the easiest way of telling those types apart is to look at the pairing of Se-Fe and Se-Te. ESTPs often treat random people like they are a part of the surrounding (Se-Fe) - there is nothing personal in this kind of connection, even when it seems bold and intense. With ESFP it's different as people and connections are going through the Fi lense. But problems seem to be part of the surrounding and there is nothing personal in the way ESFP tries to solve them. It's a question of where the tension lies for those types: ESTPs will be less chilled when it comes to the logic of solving a problem (seeing just one option as the RIGHT one) and ESFPs will stress more around connections (trying to level their Fi and being more mindful about feelings of other people).
Wishing there was a lil bit more insight. Points well taken though. I concur on the bro vibes, I still to this day get this. Can confirm not a bro but do have bro tendencies 😎 Se/Fe
The broey thing is legit cute or endearing if it's not overly performative or cliche or casually enmeshed in the toxic masculinity or bravado thing etc. Like as much as that broader stereotypical behavior can be seen as a basis for superficiality or insincerity, it's like refreshing or fun or something to see people express that as a more authentic expression of their humanity or whatever.
when you said ESFP would guess what you wanna say and ESTP would accept what you said and taking it at face value, and said it was ti vs fi distinction, I'm kind of confused. from what I know, it is Te who would be more prone to accept what you say and Ti more prone to question and second guess it. don't you think? therefore ESTP would be more prone to second guess. and ESFP would take what you say face value. what do you think about that? I'm kind of new to Myers briggs so perhaps i'll learn something.
I think he means that Ti is more of an objective function. Ti is more likely to pay attention to the actual words a person is using, while Fi pays more attention to what the words mean, or the implication of what’s being said. Ti would question you on the words you’re using, while Fi guesses what those words are implying.

4:20 it’s Se-Te impatience for me that leads me to do this as an esfp. Like HURRY UP! 😂
My cousin is an ESFP but he thinks he is an ISTP but I don’t see it since he is very out going and he doesn’t show inferior fe:
You remind me of an old friend of mine. Are you on the east coast?
