37524: *NEW* LNG Amrep Garbage Truck

Here is the first of what I assume are many new LNGs to come. It is actually surprising how fast this one was put into service, but then again there has been a major shortage of trucks. The truck has a decent speed, and a fast driver to pair with making watching and filming this very entertaining.
It’s been rumored that LA was going to buy LNG for a couple years now, although I never believed it due to the loyalty they seem to have for CNG. So when I heard about and saw this truck, you can bet I was surprised. Hopefully they continue buying LNG for the residential side of the fleet for a while, as it’s a nice change of routine.
Now let’s talk specs. The LED headlights are a very nice change. Halogen lights have been around for a while so this is a nice change, I can also imagine visibility is better too. The yellow arm is something I wasn’t too sure on at first but now I wish we were getting yellow arms earlier lol. They definitely went to work on increasing visibility and safety for this truck. Not only does the truck have more cameras on the sides and rear, but there are reverse LED “work lights” just above the regular reverse taillights as well. Overall this is a 10/10 purchase from LA and I’m excited to see more.
