You always hit the mark, even though I've turned into a Google Sheet, I can't let the opportunity pass without going through your practical videos. Thank you very much, my old friend Sumit.🙏🙏
Another excellent video. I've been using Excel since 1990, and never encountered some of the things you covered. Particularly useful are the tips on wildcard searches, format searches, and merged-cell searches. Thank you!
As always, you are simply best covering the basic topics but at advance level. Moreover, Proud to have you as an Indian and your Channel in top ten listing for learning about Excel. This video has solved my many queries (mistakes)
After watching this video, i proud myself that i am on advance level of Find and Replace option.I already know these tricks.I really loved your videos.Especially your VBA series which is very helpful.❤❤❤

Got your point now. Yes, you don't need this if all you want is to unmerge all the cells. Using F&R can be helpful when you want to know if there are merged cells and/or want to select them. Many a times, I have a need to change the value in merged cells or I want to get a list of all the merged cells so I can decide which ones to unmerge
Hello Sir, I need your help. I want a formula that if • if A1=1, a list of any 3 unique random numbers between 1 to 10 should be generated • If A1=2, a list of any 3 unique random numbers between 11 to 15 should be generated • if A1=4, a list of any 3 unique random numbers between 18 to 26 should be generated Please Reply Sir
My bad. I completely forgot. Thanks for reminding. I have added the file link in the description. Here it is for you - www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/huxk5wna4ohxzrop9jowz/Find-and-Replace.xlsx?rlkey=2om2z4p9s8to8oc3gb8vmtn4p&dl=1
@@trumpexcel I've never been able to get this to work on 365 which is unfortunate because other techniques are far more laborious and don't always give you the outcome you desire. Still, this is an excellent video showcasing what can be done with Find and Replace.
You are one of those few that i dont feel sleepy watching the videos
Earlier I was knowing only 10% about find and replace😊.
Thanks Sumit❤

I find the replace merge with unmerge cells the most useful
Yeah, merged cells can be a pain. I try and avoid using it as much as possible
Replacing line breaks is awesome...

Great video! I didn't understand the purpose of finding merged cells. I would just select and click unmerge..
If you have multiple places where the cells are merged, you can use Find and Replace to find them all at once and unmerge them.
@@trumpexcel Thank you for your reply!!
I still don't get it though.
Selecting a range as you did, then click unmerge.. I think thats faster/easier

What.s the name of font you use in Excel
It's Aptos Narrow. I Believe this was made the default font in Microsoft 365

Ctrl + J does not work in Excel 365, we'll need another way to remove line breaks unfortunately.
I recorded this video with Excel 365. But I did notice that it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Not sure what's the issue
