The central myth of Western culture was best expressed in the Middle Ages by Dante. His trilogy of the Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso, expresses very graphically, metaphorically, the three levels of consciousness-one could even say the three worlds, from a certain perspective-that the consciousness must traverse, in its journey through time and space, and its awareness of that which is beyond time and space.

Could someone please try to explain Jouir Sans? To enjoy without restraint? Sometimes I understand and other times I don't, so perhaps I simply do not understand! Essential Shunyamurti vocabulary!

Thank you Sean for your comment. Jouissance is a French word and a term popularized by Lacanian theory (Jacques Lacan). It means pleasure that causes pain or pain that causes pleasure; any “enjoyment” (in quotation marks because it creates some residue of suffering, though the enjoyment or the suffering may be unconscious) that maintains the ego and keeps one away from God. @@GabiBlissthe pain and pleasure cycle is, in part, our interpretation of an event. It’s about learning to stay in the center, to be centered. This takes practice and the practice occurs through events!

If you want to get a grip on what the hell is going on and why then Shunyamurti is the man. His talks through 2019 up to the present day couldn't be bettered as a lesson in life and the end of time!

Every teaching I listen to is a complete mind blower! Shunya's grasp of reality is complete! He effortlessly answers every question in a way I have never before witnessed. What I had thought was so complex and impossible to unravel is revealing itself before my consciousness. 🙏

I remember my ego forming , I remember as a kid letting go of something beautiful to protect myself from the energies around me, to be like everyone around me , peer pressure, conditioning and social pressure.
However once the ego was formed it becomes self fuelling, I suppose the self fuelling is the demonic merry-go-round that this great man speaks of.
I feel stuck but hopefully I can fall back to that child like beauty where God walks with you with you in every breathe

But we can't let go of ego entirely especially if we have jobs or businesses even family. We can control it, monitor it, otherwise, we would be nothing in this life and better off dead. Id really like to know how Shunyamurti addresses this.

@@colmitch4754 im new to his teachings. I do find a tremendous amount of wisdom. However, that you know of, does he ever address ego and management/balance of it or just elimination altogether as it relates to an individual with the responsibilities of this world? So far the only ones who can get away with ego elimination altogether are monks or monk like individuals who live in conditions that allow them to live ego free with no repercussions.
@@-Uranos- You can be absolutely devoted on what you do , treat everyone as you would treat your own child , and be as involved in what you do as when you were a child playing , having in mind you are going to die anytime , and that this lifespan can be joyous or hellish , joy is about balance and being measured . Delight yourself in the small things , the air you breath , the food on your table , company of loved ones , say grace and goodbye everytime , remind yourself this will be over soon , you won’t have any moment back , so just get the best out of it . It is a daily exercise that you fake until you make it , you train yourself to do this , until you really are alright with very little just waiting for the end and being available to life .
@@-Uranos-you kind of describe me and my life. I’m absolutely aspiration free; no ambition beyond being a good family member (apparent) and neighbor. So long as I can maintain shelter food and heat I’m all Bliss- out- but this is a crony corporate captured capitalist country!

I don't know if you already have done this but you guys that take care of the youtube channel should add a begineer course playlist or ask shunyamutri to make one, I am a young adult who dosen't have english as a native language and had a tough time in the beginning to understand all the different words and meanings of the things Shunyamurti was talking about.

Hey. I"m not sure it would be helpful, or preferred, but in youtube's video player you can adjust the speed of the video to some degree. Slowing it down to 75% might or might not help during times when it's difficult to understand.
Actually you're right, thanks for pointing that out. I'm not a beginner, but concerned about helping people awaken especially those who are seeking on their own and although I spend most of my time on this channel lately, I would not be able to tell you right away which one but I will keep that in mind and perhaps even create my own list of suggestions. very wise satsang. Thanks to Shunyamurty for sharing the wisdom and understanding of the ancients with us so we can "live" not "die", that one day when the fire has subsided and the rain clouds have cleared we may pass on the greatness of the gospel.
The one comment of how perception unmistakable changeds when you reach the higher stages of consciousness definitely stood out to me. I feel it as well, I also can see and feel the proverbial wheels coming off and the car beaking down of society and the world. The intensity and volume of crisis and suffering is a wet blanket covering the world which is why the LORD leads some of us to higherness.
May the LORD bless and guide all in our journeys upon this plain.

What realm, what inexhaustible source, does he tap into to get such words of wisdom and of knowledge and of love come flowing out of him and unto us, so naturally, so eloquently, so relentlessly? Does anything more beautiful, more powerful and more consolatory, exist, I wonder?
I believe he channels the great teachers of the past like an ascended master eg. Jesus Budha Babaji Bruce Lee they speak through him so searching for words rarely happens namaste
I even suspect it to be the other way round : All the great teachers of the past (foreseeingly) ‘channelled’ HIM. I haven’t ever felt any living or dead being more intimately and easygoingly linked to the Source and more inspired by It linguistically than him.
What else could be said after him? And how more beautifully could it be said?

Thank you for this. The heavenly realms are but illusion also. The final test one must realise that all that can be seen is not the real. Then within the silence the spacious bliss of the real can be realised in timeless fullfilment .

@@jonnathan9034 the idea or concept of heaven is an illusion. As is anything that can be seen or imagined. Though paradoxically our true state is that of heavenly bliss and only surrender to seeking can allow us to realise this state.
Ego produces Ego then is creates and negative vibration to attaches it's self on to people that are vibrating on the frequency as of the negative energy in which the ego it vibrating at!!! that's my perspective 😁🥁🌅🙏🌾⚓⚖

This was a very helpful lesson!! One thing that I find very humorous when I meditate is the ego? (Guess it is the ego ~ or could it be something else?) tells me “helpful” pointers it’s heard me say. In Christianity Paul and many prohets had ascended to the 3rd heaven which is the throne room of God. We also Identified it as the Spiritual dimension, then the second heaven which is the soul-ish nature of humans, then the 1st which is the world... Inferno= Earth/Flesh... Purgatory= Soul (will, decisions, emotions, thoughts), Paradiso = Spirit/Throne room

it all makes sense - how misinformed we all were - am on my own
after the being i once identify the self as me finally died, and the egoic identification dissolves, i can no longer see myself as the body, the body is a high tech technology to house the real consciousness, and then i start to channel the wonderful grace into a dance and then i was no longer see anything as physical i can just see everything as light and shadow and projection, and when my gaze lock into my hand while doing the dance and mudra i see into the quantum and the neurons inside my brain dancing energy is clearly seen outward into the illusions and it ressemble an hour glass, and i was focus in the very center of the X, and then i zoom into it and saw my own DNA and then my chromosome as X and then it keep on zooming in and then i was in the realm of the divine intelligence and the movement of the energy is being channelled to the body and thoughts does not exist only images of the higher dimensions of consciousness..

Yep I treat my ego like an old friend. I talk to my ego and assure him that I am old enough now and I can handle it. Please trust me and let go of me and most of the time it works, but not all of the time. He's pretty stubborn after having his way for so long and old habits are more resistant to change as we all know.
Can you summarise what he said of how to conquer it?
Hello. Your channel is very helpful as you address matters unique to those who are beginning, or perhaps learning more to be applied. The Ashram is no doubt very serene and those who have joined the Ashram sincere. But the Ashram concept for gathering disciples can become very dicey. It is a step in mastery, a big one, to be the sole teacher and not without its challenges to that level of service.

The only way to calm the crazy is through a globally felt spiritual alignment of Gaia w the people only the Messiah n the Divine Mother can raise the planetary frequency to 432Hz. the unconditional love wave frequency if they dont everyone will go nuts bc of ego driven fear insanity... cizvi Karma exists symbiotically with the ego, which is ultimately a delusion, but the rooted belief through identifying ones self as the ego produces the experience of Karma. So in Reality, if one is experiencing reality, Karma doesn’t exist.
If you are awake you become perfectly aware that the Self does nothing. It is only pure awareness. Actions in the material realm are performed naturally by the three modes of material nature.
It is impossible to control (you)r thoughts because it is that (you) that is projecting the thoughts, which is ego, mind. You are not that. It is your belief and identification with ego that convinced you that are experiencing a thought at all, when in reality the Self exists in a space beyond what could be considered experience.
It is not possible for the Self to have experience, because an experience requires time, beginning and end, but the self is eternal. The ego, like time, or karma, is only an appearance. It isn’t actually real.
All suffering is selfish.
I think the world is likely heading towards a near-death experience.

One part I often struggle with is that all of the stages of letting go of the ego seem to lead to bliss but not emotional bliss a state of nature if you like , for me I accept it and knows it there but have a belief that the ego would still give you this belief system ?? Clinging on to a story is egoic yet the spirit does the same thing ? Does this make sense , it seems to me we are evolutionary process that need less purpose for survival , is that no less of a story then christ , it gives me both god and no god simultaneously with out consequence ,

Is there a purpose for the hats? Does it give you more cosmic connection? I've learned that hair acts as antennas...so a hat like this would help a bald man? Or do you wear a hat at times to purposely disconnect from the cosmic connection to be certain you are acting on behalf of your true self-only?
I use a special one to protect myself from toxic frequences but maybe he just wants to keep his head warm or perhaps he just likes it ?

The world is ending? Please tell me he didn't mean this in a literal sense. Alot of what he says resonates deeply for me, but statements like that makes the alarm bells go of for me, in a Jim Jones kind of way. At best this is a statement that needs more elaboration, for example to say "the wolrd as you know it is ending", "you realize the world was not what you thought it was" etc. I find it irresponsible not to do so.
Its just the way we perceive it that is ending. The earth is not ending.
