The Sinister Six/Superior Six rework/release was the thing they have done in a long time. More teams need to be released this way. Would be cool if they reworked Power Armor and gave all of the Pegasus team the power armor tag.
I have played this game for about 2,122 days. That's almost 6 years and a little under 51,000 hours. I think I can confidently and safely say that I have hated Blitz for 50,999 of those 51,000 hours that I've spent in game.
if blitz gets removed the game has no grind function for characters. now that may not be important to CC's because you buy the characters but not everyone does. I like the fact, even after 1600+ days that I can grind up to around a 5* character at release. There is no other ability in this game to grind out more rewards if you want to put in the effort. If the quick farming cadence this is very important especially if the character ends up in a store that you don't have a lot of currency in (is: arena and war store). Again, probably not a CC issue, but definitely a player issue. So while I love watching MG and I watch all your vids... I wish you could provide a little more balanced perspective that maybe not all players are in the same.
I think it's without a doubt in a better spot than it was even just a few months ago. Not many reasons for current players to stop playing. If someone quit/took a break, it's a great time to come back. If someone is new (and willing to grind), it's a good time.
The drag and drop on the lineup was a great addition for me, especially for teams when placement order is important. I'd also love to have them have a way to buy up or down on ability or gear materials. This is part of the playing with a fun alliance vs a "sweaty player" alliance. We have some people who are new, some long term. The newer players get discouraged when we don't raid low so the newer players can level up their gear and abilities, but the older players get discouraged when we run low raids since they have 10s of thousands of green/blue/purple ability mats or gear. I'd love for there to be a way for newer players to use the purples they get in attempting the hard raids to buy down to get blues/greens/purples that the need... and potentially something to buy up when you have thousands of extra greens/blues/purples/golds and you need that equivalent teal piece. And when it comes to Blitz, I wish they would change it to a weekly event where one pass through a 50 person roster at 1x would give you rewards equivalent to if you ran that team 8 times a day for 7 days under the current system.
If they want more engagement, they should have an endless mode where you select however many characters, maybe 10, and they just spam you with random enemies every time, getting harder and harder:say 1st game starts with Hydra minions at 2k, moving up to Apocalypse at 10k, then Horsemen at 20k each, then Web Warriors at 100k, so on and so on. The next game then makes it Super Skrull at 2k, Aim at 10k, Apocalypse at 20k, Secret Defenders at 100k, so on and so on, all so that no game is identical, some are easier, some are harder, and the further you get, the better rewards you get. The enemy pool is just selected at random aomng the entire roster, with yellow and red stars, level, and gear tier slowly being scaled up each wave.
To speak in favor of Blitz just be mindful everybody doesn't have tons of money to spend on the game and the free to play who have the ability to grind and need an opportunity to get things as well I think Blitz becomes oppressive when people have to do four and five rotations a day it definitely interferes with life but we only have to do two to get the rewards that we need and everything else is just bonus we can't really be upset about that can we
Marvel Snap’s card acquisition is absolutely horrendous. So the $10 a month pales in comparison to the cost to actually keep up with new cards. That’s like $150 to $300
The alliance part does suck. I've been with a group for almost a year now, really enjoy the team but I'm now way ahead of them and going to bounce next Sunday, mainly due to raids. I'm way ahead and they are holding me down, and I really stayed to long and lost a lot of rewards due to that mistake. Slowed down my progress to get SuS A LOT. I started with co-workers and friends, left them ages ago to. But I do agree that it is in a much better spot now than a year ago.. night and day honestly. Also - blitz needs to die, such an awful game mode.
Bringing back dark dimension was okay until the unique gear was required, after all this time I have three toons at g18 and I'm waiting on 20+ for most others to get to g18 to even start, I have started all the other DDs about a year after they opened but this one was will be far longer
25:00 "worse than idle game" oooh that might be a solution for Blitz. They should set it up as an idle game so it happens without us interacting with it. All of the rewards and none of the interaction. LOL
In regards to support; I've recently returned to the game after quitting in May 2020. I had beaten DD1 when Ultron was a reward and was about to start DD2 when I quit. Upon returning I see that Kestrel is a reward for 1 and Ultron moved to 2. But having already beaten 1, the game stated I wouldn't get any rewards, thus missing out on Kestrel. Contacted support, within 4 days I had all the Kestrel shards sent to me. Can't fault them on my personal encounters.
Omg! I am sooo sorry MG, i thought things were getting better with MSF?!? 😢 The fact that literally EVERY content creator is gone or turned you down and you had to scrape the underside of the barrel for this collab video with Dulom. Tragic, so tragic. 😂
Regarding support. After an update, I opened around 50 red orbs during the 10x period and every single one was a 10. No 30, no 50. Pretty sure there was a bug. Support just said re-explained how % work lol. Next time the 10x came through, went back to normal distribution.
One thing I would totally delete from this game is the countdown timers. You have a MINUTE to set up your raid team and play. What of I dont know there is a menu that allows you to select full teams and it boots me out and I have to do it again and again, or what if I am a youtuber that likes to talk a lot and explain some things to the audience how the team works? YOU CANT DO THAT IN A MINUTE, CAN YOU? Or what if I have to suddenly go do my no.2 and leave in a rush?
Ffffffuuuuck the alliance based cc bs…I’m also at the point where I need to leave my alliance…the past 12 wars we have like 6-8 guys who do nothing…raids…I can’t even remember IF we have ever 100% a single one…its so trash
What if there are two different leaderboards, one for whales, and by whales I mean ones that spend a certain amount of money on the game each month that make you qualify as one, and then another leaderboard where its just pure ftp grinders that give it their all and get rewarded appropriately. I think a change like this done right, would be crazy good at rewarding hard working players and also bringing new players in as well.
Rework is great but doesn’t mean us normal players have the resources to build the two teams. I play in a top 100 war and raid alliance as a ftp player but don’t have the resource for superior 6.
It's better than it was a year ago, absolutely. But... That's a _low_ bar. It's not "good" in most respects. I would not recommend it to a new player, at all. But it's "better enough" that someone who's already invested time isn't as crushed as they once were. Which probably says more about what we're willing to put up with than anything else.
Also the economy is lazy and sloppy you trudge for a bottleneck then you break through it and those things just become obsolete and worthless. Economy needs to be fluid and adaptive
This game is fun to play casually but I feel sorry for people who spend money on this game.. I'm doing fine played a few months now with no money and I can see where they make this game to be anything competitive you have to spend money... if you play for fun tho with no money it's still fun !
I don't think MSF is better they still have gated gold and training mats massively, when they release the bottleneck a tiny bit they increase the level cap and that puts the gold and training mats even further gated than it was before, the worst part about it is they don't even see the problem, they even admitted last year when UA-camRS complained about it, they were shocked even though a hell of a lot of posts on Reddit were out
Basically, the game is being dictated by whatever the top players complain about the most. You have a dedicated spot in the stores for alien spores purely from complaining, arena characters are near impossible to level up unless you're a top player, also earning power cores to get new characters to any meaningful level. DD is basically just level the same 5 characters for each node until you get the character. The apocalypse event actually sounds engaging: level up specific teams to get a big character. You can release multiple teams at once, and everyone goes through the same nodes with the same characters from (nearly) the same starting point... but top players complained, and now we'll probably never see something like that again. This game isn't being guided by the community. It's being guided by reddit and discord. Why are there no in-game surveys? The auction isn't for who gets the new diamonds on the big character, the auction is for who can pay their way to the dev notes.
BOotlicker and company man talk down to you for 20 minutes. There is way more things a game can do ,, but doesn't get mentioned because of th3 narrative.

Understanding that my experience is anecdotal, my current alliance has had 1 person quit since I moved over the last year plus. People still grumble of course but there's a lot less complaining these days.
raid teams are more a trap for whales or if you're hardcore in war and cc. as a f2p person i get use out of my raid teams in war and cc bc they're built to at least g16 to do incursion raids. i skipped so many war teams, only one i built was gamma bc of apoc. so i agree that you don't over build raid teams but they not as useless as moblie implies. they just useless to him bc his alliance wants to be the best in war so he has to build war teams.

I would love, like in SWGoH, to be able to make teams with characters I haven’t unlocked yet. It would really help for future planning

I stopped playing about a year an a half ago and I was a day 1 player. After watching this I am really glad I stopped when I did.
