Greatest pure skill ever.
Mario Lemieux, no one could compare to him, not even Gretzky. Mario is the best player to ever play the game, period
Gretzky had the greatest career.Lemieux was the GREATEST TALENT!🇨🇦🏒😉
i bet u crosby looks up to this guy. the sacrifices they make for the penguins' franchise is inspiring
Pittsburg has had mega-talented players, Lemieux, Crosby, Malkin, Jagr, LeTang, etc.......
The number of Cups this city has won rivals Montreal's considering the number of teams in the league/when.
Super Mario one of the best to ever do it he was not only a great player, but a great person as well
Largely with the Penguins 😅
I was disappointed that you barely mentioned his resilience.
Saw most of his games at home in Laval and also many on the road............. pure talent.....
Idk how you managed to do a 20 minute video with about three different facts butisomehow you did
this video was redundant. you should edit it and include some of his international achievements.
His team had international achievements, it wouldn't look good announcing in his PRIME highlight video that he never led an international tournament in scoring and never won an international MVP.
@dannycarlow8204 He led Canada to an Olympic GOLD medal. Something Gretzky could and will never have. He failed Canada in '98. He cried on the bench and Sather wasn't there to give him his baby soother. He relied on assists in the Canada Cup '87. Big Daddy Mario had to shovel the puck home 11 times to Gretzky's measly 3 goals. Little Wayne had no strength, no shot speed, no hitting ability, he had the sturdiness of a box of Kleenex.
@kingcarriere8323 Yet Wayne was the MVP of the 87 Canada Cup.
1978 World Junior Tournament - Wayne led in scoring
1981 Canada Cup - Wayne led in scoring
1982 World Ice Hockey Championships - Wayne led in scoring
1984 Canada Cup - Wayne led in scoring
1987 Canada Cup - Wayne led in scoring
1983 World Junior Tournament - Mario finished 8th in scoring with 10 points, the leader had 20 points.
1985 World Ice Hockey Championships - Mario finished 11th in scoring with 10 points, the leader had 14 points
1987 Canada Cup - Mario finished 2nd in scoring to Wayne Gretzky
2002 Olympics - Mario finished 9th in scoring with 6 points, the leader had 9 points
2004 World Cup of Hockey - Mario finished 14th in scoring with 5 points in 6 games, the leader had 8 points in 4 games.
The only time Mario cracked the top eight scorers at an international tournament was when Wayne had to spoon-feed him so he could score at an international tourney for once. Funny how that worked. Oh yeah, Wayne is also the all time leader in points in best on best international hockey tournaments.
@dannycarlow8204 Wrong. He led in secondary assists.🤣
@dannycarlow8204 0 Gold Medals for Wayne. Your secondary assists WHA prodigy just couldn't pull it off
Vincent LeCavalier was supposed to be a Mario Lemieux. Strange that didn't pan out considering how similar they both were.
When you consider what Mario did to the QMJHL, there can be no comparison between the 2.
@@blueodum Rob Brown scored 385 points in his last two years of juniors and is the only player in WHL history to score 200+ points in a season. Ten players have done it in the Q. How did that pan out? Junior success does not mean NHL success, no matter how good. That's why comparing junior players to anybody is ridiculous. You'll almost always be disappointed.
Do a video of Connor McDavid please
Okay
Lemiou 😂
one on one he is better than gretzky
Gretzky mastered the game of hockey which is a team game, that's why he's the greatest hockey player. Mario mastered the individual game, that's why he isn't the greatest hockey player. At no time in either of their careers was hockey a one on one game.
@@dannycarlow8204Gretzky mastered shit. The Oilers made Wayne. Pocklington bought Wayne his career. Oilers won the cup without Coffey and Gretzky. Imagine that? Gretzky pretending all this time that the Oilers were nothing without him. He was nothing without them. They made Wayne. Wayne was a deflated, washed up, assist weakling, with no real talent other than passing and scoring on midgets from 1979-85. He was a real yawnfest after that who played hot potato with the puck. Once the dynasty players were no longer there for him to dump the puck off too, he crashed and never won squat, other than a handful of Lady Byngs.
Mario rules.
