I went to middle school and high school in forks. I lived south of town almost on the bogasheeld river. One day my cousin and I were out in the woods not far from my house trying to find some grouse to shoot (we had pellet guns, not very successful), we herd something moving in the woods and the hair on both of our necks stood up, we also caught a wiff of a foul smell. We didn't see anything or waist any time booking it back to the house.

Excellent interview, Port Angeles/Agnew here. The wilderness is not too far off 101, the farther you go off 101 the thicker and more remote you get in these mountains.

I spent some time in Forks Washington recently. No sightings but Sasquatch is very prevalent there. Lots of large carvings, and the amount of Bigfoot merchandise is quite amazing. We bought a coffee mug, a couple of stickers, a couple of refrigerator magnets, and I got a pair of really great socks with Bigfoot on them. It’s not just a tourist attraction. That’s not the reason we wound up in Forks. My wife rented a real neat little cabin in the woods just as a scenic vacation. If you ever get over there something you must do. Visit the hall of mosses. A fabulous piece of the Olympic rainforest. It’s an easy hike with a nice pathway and only a few well-maintained steps. Almost anyone can do it. It’s place you can’t help thinking about Sasquatch. People believe as do I.

Former Forks Resident here. My father is still a logger in Forks. Yes, hands down, Sasquatch is almost a member of the community nowadays. In the early 80s my dad and his friend were up by Happy Lake and as they were scanning cross that lake they saw a large black silhouette walk from the lake shore, into the forest and disappeared. They were freaked out, bc nothing should’ve been able to be that large and walk away so smoothly. He kept telling himself it was a bear for years but knew in his heart it was Sasquatch. Now 10yrs later when I was 9-10yrs old, in the early 90s, my Dad, his friend and our families went camping out near La Push, and as we were riding on 3 wheelers, the kids, me my sister and 2 of the boys came around the corner and smelled this horrid smell, and we stopped on this small logging road bridge to laugh about how bad it smelled. But in the boggie creek was what looked like a “ humongous, blonde, hairy rock” in the middle of the creek. We all stared at it, when it started to stand up! I remember the hair, blowing in the wind so smoothly even! It’s strange how and what I remember.. that wasn’t it though. So, as this thing starts to rise outta the creek, the other boys freak out and we drive off on the 3 wheelers as me and my sister and Mr on the backs. I was trying to see its face but never did.
So we get back to camp and tell our dads that we saw a monster! And they laugh and start talking about how it’s the Boggie Creek monster, they were obviously referencing the boggy creek Bigfoot, and then they start talking about the one they saw up at happy lake. Well after our dad’s make fun of us, later that night we had encounters. There were definitely multiple Sasquatch around our camp. I remember my mom waking up in the middle of that night telling my dad that there was something outside our tent. He kept saying it was just elk! But she said “that’s not f**kin elk!” And my dad wouldn’t go look! He was scared. I remember then, hearing this loud Whoop! And other bizarre sounds from multiple areas around us… but then I remember just waking up that morning, and my dad was gone from the tent. My sister and mom were still asleep. I don’t remember falling back asleep after my parents were freaking out in the tent from all the noises outside. So it’s morning and I go outside the tent and my dad waves me over to where he’s standing by the river. A kid always remember when his dad says…” don’t tell your mom or sister this…” and he proceeds to point down at the sandbar where there is a single big footprint left in the sand! I only saw the one. It kinda didn’t make sense because there should’ve been more but again I was young there could’ve been more, but I think everybody was freaked out enough and we never went camping never again after that as a family.
Now I’m all for going out and searching for cryptids. I grew up with ghosts and this stuff. I’m 42 now and live in SW Washington. So I’m close to so many reported areas. I always thought about telling this story on one of these shows.

I grew up and lived in Forks in 60s through the 80s. I did a bit of camping, hiking and fishing in various areas around the West End. I never heard of anyone seeing anything resembling bigfoot.
There were a few rumors that former Viet Nam vets that couldn't cope with society lived year round in the woods near Beaver and Sappho.
I did hear rumors about bigfoot down around Mt Saint Helens a couple of times.

I lived in Port Angeles 4 yesterday ago, came back from vacation and saw huge foot prints in my back yard. The prints went toward the Elwa River and and stopped in front of a cliff. No turn around prints. We lived on Fox Point Dr, Port Angela's. At night we would hear noises and one time at our bon fire we smelt a foul smell. We went in quick. Felt strange too. Hurricane ridge state park is in Port Angelas.

Most people don't realize how long their arm are. They have no problem snapping off 6 to 8 inch tree saplings 14 feet in the air. They twist, then break, poping off the tree bark. Thanks for the video Jeramiah.

I lived in Forks and Port Angeles. I have a very long story of my son and his girlfriend dealing with Bigfoot for many weeks. They were fishing and camping and the Bigfoot was trying to get them to leave. Many many things happened. Then he showed himself..... believe it or not they still kept going back. I talked to BOBO frome the tv show FINDING BIGFOOT because I was really afraid for them. I also did a podcast with Josh Turner on his PARANORMAL ROUNDTABLE. Its the only time I have heard of someone going back over and over and experiencing more and more ! Crazy things were happening. We live back in Port Angeles now.

I am 63. I ride road dirt bikes my whole life. 2 years ago i took my bike out hwy 2 about 10 to 15 miles east of monroe wa to rieter pit for a short ride. Left the parking area road up the gravel road to a trail that went through a clear cut found a trail that went up through a none clear cut that dumped me out on to the upper gravel road. Once on the road there was a large culvert pipe going across the road that was a nice jump. Once cresting that jump my eyes followed the road to see where i was heading. Instantly something caught my eye about 75 yards under a tree on my right witch is the same side of the clear cut i just left. Anyway what i saw was a very large head Instantly turn my direction after cresting that jump. Looking at that head turn that looked about the size of a 5 gallon bucket. Then noticing a large upright body conected to that head. Instantly sending chiles through my body & fear of the encounter. The closer i got that figure turned and jumped down the hill. I wanted to stop and look down but i was scared or shocked or whatever. So i road past the sighting spot keeped riding. When i came back down the mountain i did stop. There is a little more to the story but i would rather tell the rest to somebody.
