Hmm… I don’t think Mark intended any offence towards nurses in his comment. I think he was just highlighting that he likes the calm and gentle approach that is adopted by so many ASMR creators in medical style roleplays and which I’ve done my best to capture here. I read his comment in the context of the other feedback he has previously given on my videos, much of which relates purely to the video itself. I will never condone or engage with intentionally explicit, trolling or hateful comments because it’s simply not what I’m here for. Anything else I choose to approach with kindness and gratitude, even if someone is just telling me what they had for breakfast. @@ASMRTreasury With your day job, your family, and all the work you put into your videos, I know you’d never have time for custom videos, plus you (amazingly) take requests and your videos include every trigger a custom one would anyway (at least for me), which only leaves one missing piece: saying people’s names. It’s always a bit odd when ASMRtists read a list of names-they might feel strange doing it, viewers are likely to skip to their name (if it’s even in there). Also, I’m not sure how much of view count such a video gets, probably not much. And then, for those of us with pseudonyms, we’d have to sneak our real name to you somehow, and something like a community tab response provides little to no anonymity (we’d have to hope someone else has our name). I guess there are too many issues with this idea. Oh well, c’est la vie… Until your next video then, which will no doubt be as great as always!
Interesting!! I’d absolutely love to give shoutouts to my regular viewers and supporters but I would have to be clever about how to work it into a video…. the “naming you” segment at the end of my face measuring one last week was probably a good opportunity to try something like that wasn’t it haha 🤦♀️ I’m not completely opposed to the idea of custom videos but it’s definitely a time thing!
