Nice!!! I had been on the fence about getting a nice futaba. Heck, almost got one before grabbing the radiolink rc6gs v2. But I figured I give radiolink 1 more shot, specially at the $ lol.
Here's what I found between the two, the rc4gs and the rc6gs, the range difference wasn't much, just a tad better on the rc6gs, just under 4k FT round trip with the rc4gs to just over 4K FT round trip with the rc6gs. The response time at long range was also improved on the rc6gs. But both controllers at the 4K Ft round trip were getting wonky on the steering due to delayed response at them long ranges. And that's all without a range extender of course. Once I added the extender to the rc6gs, it was a game changer, now I can get to ~5400FT (as far as I can see lol) round trip with no issues.
But I can't wait to see how the futaba does with the extender as far as response time. Because I still feel like the futaba will outperform the radiolink in that field.

Ya buddy and to be honest I’ve ran into so many problems lately and not for nothin but just simply tired of wondering how much better it is😂…. What is the actual difference In drivability? Ya know? And this radio isn’t exactly expensive, and with a booster it’s gonna work great I think! But we’ll see! Thanks buddy!👊👍👍 the little bit of driving I did today there was a night and day difference in response and drivability!

Great range for a futaba at that price point. I wanted to go with a futaba before getting my radiolink, but those prices on them futaba's are pretty crazy.

Copy that buddy! They get crazy with there prices, just have to see how different or better it actually is for myself to stop all the wondering 😂 for this price if the difference is there than it’s all worth it! But only one way of finding that out😂 Thanks buddy👊👍👍

I started out with the 3pv boosted but prefer the 4px. Both with the dual antenna receivers. Futaba receivers are expensive. I’ve tried the Radiolink Rc8x and love it but find it to complicated for speed running. To many buttons to accidentally press. I’ve pre ordered the mew Radiomaster mt12 Elrs no boosters needed. Can’t wait for spring.

Copy that buddy ,good stuff! I'm liking it so far, big difference from the RL but ya it's freezing now tough to do any running 😂

A good place to do this would be the drag strip or something like that not near anyone or wifi.

@@G35Jeesh yeah took me a min too but you’ll get it, turn radio on click over until you get to REV then click to channel 2 and reverse it with the button in the middle that has the +\- and should get ya going right direction, traxxas esc is a castle and does have to be reversed in futaba’s then be sure to re-calibrate esc to radio👊

@@mitchellminer4596 Right on.. just thinking a radio based for aircraft should have good range. They have radios suited to cars so maybe that's worth a shot for me.

@@scaleworksRC theory is correct, I’d say essentially it would come down to 2 things , if it gets the job done and personal preference. I’ve heard 50/50 some guys like them some don’t . Regardless of range the radio has can usually always be fixed with a booster. But ya just have to look into how it could be done with a Flysky.
