My grandparents lived (My grandfather still does) on the water on Bear Creek just on the other side of the Wise Avenue bridge. I spent my early life heading this way on fishing/crabbing trips and our trips over the St. Michael's with my grandparents. This brought back memories.

Watched every episode; superb. The boat, Wave Rover, has nothing to compare with your good self Alan..you have physically changed during this building process, wonderful to see. The response to tge bridge made me chuckle..they have no idea of your great adventure.
I agree with your advice to sail out and anxhor out first night. We do that as well on 1 to 2 week trips. We get the nice feeling of pushing off and staring fresh in the morning with a few miles behind us. The pre trip anxities fade away after the first sunset

and that serpent probably LOVES goose eggs ...I know just how he feels ...They are quite tasty ! .. the geese have a problem with that hence all the noise!
