The scene could be depicted as Roccia about to disappear before her Resonator powers awakened and Pero appears to save her, similar to how Baizhi was about to be killed with her fellow researchers before her own resonator powers awakened to create You'tan.
That is a very interesting take! Because, like, what her resonator power would be otherwise? Pretty much everything she does gameplay-wise is just wielding Pero.

I think the panting's coming alive and attacking people is supposed to represent artists being outcast by the order of the deep for the pilgrimage on account of their expression being deemed dangerous and unholy. So maybe Roccia internalises this, thinking that being colorful and joyful is bad for the world, hence why her colors are draining out in a later shot. Some really interesting stuff.

Roccia was honestly the lowest priority unit to get when Kuro previewed all of the 2.X for me. But after the main story and her character trailer, I'm sold on trying to getting her. I'm hoping she will be an underdog pick up that will end up having a good combo unit in the future, but even if not, that smile will be protected.

Roccia is a lovely little girl acts & even sounds abit like lynette(brant would be her equivalent of lyney) But her tagic story really tugged at me at first i planned to get carlotta's weapon but after the story i wanted her bad plus i love her palette

Nah she definitely miles better than sanhua. It's just that camellya just do so much damage that roccia is overkill. If you really love her just pull for her. But if you also want jinhsi I'd say go for her instead of roccia cuz for sure you don't have a spectro DPS right? Or are you also planning on pulling Phoebe?

@@xtiyan2250 im gonna be the meta slave today: roccia's issues are that she gives a lot of a stat that camellya already has too much of: attribute dmg. and the fact that she need A SHIT TON of investment to get full atk buff her dps isn't all that higher than sanhua or danjin with the same investment and her buff isn't that much better because of diminishing returns. overall she gives 10% teamwide dmg in comparison to danjin s6 (including their personal dmg), so you need to think about how much value that holds. but hey, that's just meta talk, gacha's aren't only meta, so if you like her gameplay/personality, go for it, but if you wanted to pull her only for meta, she's not so "must pull"
I was thinking about pulling for Roccia. But then some videos suggesting to skip her and this showcase video made me decide to try and go for her. Hope I have enough pulls.
I loved her design. The whole circus/carnival theme really always wins me over, and her design was cute and fancy before I saw the cool suitcase with a shadow creature from a PS2 game inside--after that even Carlotta didn't grab my attention. ... Until I found out who voices Carlotta, in both versions of the game that I play. And I was already going to roll Zhezhi, because I skipped her LAST time and told myself, as a promise, I would get her this time. So now I have both of them, and I really want to pull Raccia, but... I don't know if I can just yet.
Fun movesets for clowning enemies but I'm saving for others. She stands out from the other characters with similar builds. Her story will be a bit darker - just like a protagonist losing everyone
I think the story is compelling enough, but what really sold me on her were the animations. Whoever did the mocap for her is a truly talented performer, further enhanced with animator's magic. The only thing I think is missing, is that they didn't gave her any accent at all. I don't know what was the reason for that, and I felt it was a little jarring after I heard that she was the most Italian of them all (due to her voice lines during combat).
I love Roccia, i didn't wanted to pull for her because i was waiting for the next characters reruns, but just because they don't like my daughter i'm gonna pull for her 😌😂

If they make Pero an echo then that's just stupid writing they already have lore with Encore's wooly it's already explained. Plus if they're an actual echo we should have seen something similar to them in the overworld.

I would say yes. Roccia didn't quite impress me at first, but Act III of 2.0's story helped won me over. Plus her play style is a lot fun.
