Crazy thing about the mount it comes with, with the button… is that they (Sig) offer a separate mount that is 1) quick detach and 2) force to overcome. Moreover, it’s crazy that as of this comment it’s $99.99 on Sig’s site, I haven’t found it anywhere else, and likely because it’s always out of stock. Although, also as of this comment it is in stock for once. It’s officially called the “Juliet Flip Away Mount” and appears to have a far smaller footprint than the button mount it comes with. Honestly, I think I’d be willing to pay a bit more if it came with this one, but Sig loves money and I’m sure this method is more lucrative for them. However, I was lucky by checking recently, and I did (begrudgingly) get one to try out since I’m running 45 offsets and found the button to be slightly in the way on my build. It should be in tomorrow.
