My high energy lab/pit mixed passed away 3 months ago..
I learned everything from Cesar in order to give my pup his best life….❤❤ thanks Cesar!!
Now I’m becoming the dog sitter for people😂..
And when I get the dog, I’m told all about the dogs, habits, issues…
But once the dog has been with me a day or two, almost all those issue the dog owner tells me about are gone from the dog..
The last dog I sent home didn’t want to leave my side…
Though she’d been with her family since she was a pup, and is 6 years old..

We have a dog daycare/boarding business and we see the same thing. The "worst" dogs often don't want to leave us. I have been successful in having the owners bring them back. Eventually the owners begin to ask questions about how we get their dogs to behave differently. That's when you have an opportunity to effect change.

how to get a 1 year old boxer lab mix to stop jumping up and trying to bite every ones throat. never met this boxer-lab dog, it's my brothers and from day 1 it does this to everybody whether first meeting or knows your part of their pack of friends and family. some kind of weird alpha dominance thing going on, which is kind of hilarious as it just quashed some aggression of a now 2 year old white lab that responded with other dogs that presented protective actions in several neighborhoods from different communities when walking this white lab while visiting other family at their homes.
Cesar you need to make a movie about your life. That would be awesome.
Cesar's lessons are universal. My cousin applies it to his pet birds & it works effectively.

Amazing video you helped me alot.
I have had some pretty magical moments with my dogs and stranger dogs since taking in the Milan Philosphy. I always had good rapport with dogs but it is now next level where I can manage the interaction freely and comfortably no matter the dog's energy. I also am now able to see the social i teractions at the dog park. Who is assertive, who is the police dog enforcing social rules, who is afraid, its wild. My current dog missed the time window for socialization and, as a xolo, is extra sensitive and passionate. It has been so good to use what I have learned now, with her age 4 and a half, since we got access to a dog park. She is even starting to like the place a little. Thanks, Cesar!

This might blow your mind but I’ve seen this same thing happen with CATS!!
My cat (Viper) has behaved in (what some/MOST would call) a TYRANNICAL way when meeting ANY strangers.
It was because of MY FEAR (of what he may do: claw/bite, etc.) from living in the past with his history.
However, on the flip side of that - I have FULL TRUST and CONFIDENCE in my veterinarian - that they can handle ANYTHING my CAT might choose to dish out…
That being said, when I would walk into the office and hand my crazy cat over to the vet or her assistant, I was fully relaxed and had faith in HER to not be harmed.
Contrary to being at home, my nervous level at the vets office was pretty much at ZERO (every time) and my “Crazy Cat” had a nervous level of about maybe 1 or 2 (after all, he WAS in a strange place, with strange people)… and the vet easily picked him up and said, “Hey sweet boy… let’s have a look at your teeth” 😳
While my cat didn’t automatically SMILE and ‘open wide’, (let’s be real)… the doctor pried his mouth open, checked his teeth with minimal effort, listened to his breathing, weighed him, etc. etc. - and he was fine with her handling of him!
It was MY CONFIDENCE in the doctor that transferred into “Viper, the Crazy cat” that made the vets job easier… and made the visit easier on my cat!
When I’m calm and confident, my cat reads my emotions and mimics them.

Also.. if for some reason, I’m sad and crying - guess who makes his way to my lap to nuzzle his head against my face and comfort me?!?

I know that this is all about DOGS (and Cesar and his incredible team have taught me so much over the years)… but I just wanted to point out that our emotions can really control our surroundings and others (including nature) in the way they respond to us!

We love you Cesar.
We have a small dog daycare and boarding business. We often take in dogs who the owners describe as having delicate tummies, easily stressed, reactive to loud noises, etc. What we find is the owners are describing themselves. We consistently provide strong leadership and lovingly interact with the dogs. We have many dogs here for the 4th of July and New Year's Eve when there will be fireworks across the street. The dogs sleep through it. I can throw dog food on the floor for "treasure hunts". They never fight over the food.
It's the owners who need training.

Omg this is so me! I have a 2 and a half year old female cane corso and my anxiety is through the roof with her and she is so reactive from my energy. I’m trying so hard to get it under control but Cesar makes it look so easy 😢

My dog out of control barks whenever someone comes over. Workers, or neighbors walking outside the house. I'm going to use this technique, calming myself and taking charge to see if it works..

The problem is hardly ever the dog, it's mostly the people who are doing it all wrong. Once again Cesar knows it all.

I disagree. It's not about his life story, it's about what he does with his spirit and energy and knowledge over and over and over again. I am often moved to tears by even his small successes like this one. A movie about his "history" would be shining the light in the wrong place. A movie about Cesar could only be, one after another, all of the human and dog lives he's blessed.

I used to dread meeting dogs when out for a walk because they would always attack my dog. One day I just got fed up with it and said fine, you want to rumble then just go ahead and rumble. I haven't had a problem since!

Practice going to the door and be CALM.. and make your dog give you distance and wait.. it’s hard describing this so maybe watch Cesar’s videos.. if the dog is not giving you distance and respecting your space then it’s not happening everywhere..

Cesar is the most reported dog trainer. he only uses fear, which is not a lasting solution, distances your relationship with the dog, and is only making him avoid things beacuse of fear not because he learned it. To change such behaviours, there is no easy and quick way, its not a machine you can program. To properly train and have results, you must first provide them with all their needs and make it as easy for the dog as possible to adapt. To hold a dog who is frightened of you is only going to increase his anxiety and fear to people and that is exactly why he is never going to trust people this way. If you don't protect and guide your dog, the dog is going to have to demonstrate reactive behaviour.
