Having taken several polygraphs in my life, there are some inconsistencies here. You're instructed to look either strilaight ahead, or down, just focus on one spot. Arms on the armrest, do not move. Don't even twitch. The vacuum tubes across the chest, the sensors on the fingers, and the motion pad he is sitting on are accurate. The questions are accurate as well, straight forward, yes or no. But all that moving and waving around Charlie is doing, that entire exam is invalidated. The machine does have an effect on you though. You remember shit from 20 years ago, you remember stuff from when you were 6! It is nerve-wracking. Polys are usually only a dozen or so questions, but they are repeated a couple times)(the dept I work for makes you do three runs through the question set) but you are worn out, stressed out, and exhausted when it's over. Still funny as hell though
