Hey everyone,
It just dawned on me whilst I was uploading the video that I didn't include additional buffs like bloodboil aromatic so if you want to use that too, you'll be doing EVEN MORE damage than what you see in the vid!
Thank you for watching the video and let me know what road you will go down with this build; Unga Bunga or DPS?
:)
Thanks for the info and in-depth info, I played as a mage but then got better, so this next playthrough, I feel confident enough to play a strength build.
No worries :) - strength builds can be super fun and satisfying to use, especially when you break the enemies stance!
Coming back to the game to prep for DLC - hands down best video ever for builds. I’m mostly str/dex player so can’t wait to try all these weapons out 🎉
Thank you! Which weapon you thinking of running first?
@@tkcjazza Giant Crusher for sure 😂 unga bunga is just too much fun
It may seem strange, but even with my eternal love to big ass swords I never played pure strength in this game. I did it in DS3 but Elden Ring's multistat builds are so good and fun, that amongst 20+ builds I've played all of them included more then 1 stat)
Love the videos man! Just a quick question, do you reckon these builds are better than the dex twin guardian swordspear build?
Yeah, but only if you're running the cragblade ash of war - that is pretty much crucial to do the amount of damage you're seeing in the vid :)
What armor set are you wearing for the UNGA BUNGA showcase? Thanks!
Im preety confident in this build at level 175 , at that level you can put the extra 15 points in endurance OR at 150 if you are not planning on using the enchantments or/and marais sword, you can drop faith and arcana. With endurance at 40 you can equip more stuff and keep medium load while equiping the poise ambulet to whitstand more attacks. I run 3-4 sets with this build so its preety versatile as well
feel like not having golden vow is too big of a tradeoff to drop faith, dropping the arcane is what i have done though to spend points elsewhere since the marias sword is whatever imo
You get the sub for the Skyrim bg...thx for the vid.
BONK weapons are the best! Amazing video as always bro! 😎 definitely, strength is fire! 🔥
Thank you bro - Bonking is the best! 😂
I’ve used the heavy giant crusher and the ruins greatsword with my 84 strength character, ruins greatsword just straight up does more damage
awesome video I am unfortunately heavy loaded after this setup but I am wearing banished knight armor
Yeah, that’s the only problem, not too much room for a heavy armour set if you’re also running a heavy weapon 😅 - maybe sacrifice a few points to add to endurance if you have to :)
I am begging, PRAYING, that the elden ring dlc has a COLOSSAL weapon that scales with both strength and arcane, And does bleed damage, at base. Sure, Gut's greatsword is great and all, but as a arcane and strength build simp, i just want something AUTHENTIC, y'know? Something that bleeds and bonks without any changes. Anyways, lovely video and build, keep it up!👍🔥
Thank you man! Yeah I want to see them mess around with the different weapon combos - a bleed or even poison/rot greatsword would be nutty!
Which class is the best for a strength image?
I don't know about other's but for me your are the best Elden Ring player in the world because with your videos and your guidance I am currently playing NG +10. And I am not good at games. But thank to you this is my first platinum for hard games. No matter what others say you are the best. And also thank you very much for always coming with new videos and play style for us who have come this far watching your videos and learning from you
You're the one playing the game still my dude so GG's on the platinum! :)
It really does mean a lot to hear that the videos are helping people like yourself enjoy the game and find new ways to have fun!
I'll keep trying my best to bring new play-styles and killer builds like this until we get that DLC which should hopefully be filled to the brim with more weapons!
@@tkcjazza actually I got myself a platinum and I also got my wife a platinum. She doesn't play games but I am trying to build her profile. And thank to you video she got her first platinum too. As always thank you very much
Can you make a thrust sword (for example anspur build) . My first play through was with the thrust swords and absolutely love them. Id love your thoughts on it.
Yeah - I am working through a load of other weapons right now - but thrust weapons are on the list of things to cover :)
I love the Skyrim music 😂❤❤
What stat distribution would you recommend while running a dedicated strength build on a character at around level 336 that's finished ng+7?
Hey, if you're using the video as reference, simply put another 10/20 points in vigor and endurance to run a really heavy armour set - get str up to 80 and then add more points into which ever stats scale your favoured weapon type - So if you run a load of greatswords, chances are they have Dex as their secondary scaling so pump up Dex to boost your AR
Also maybe get faith up to 33 so you can run Howl of Shabiri for the extra damage :)
What charge base do you use
would the axe of godfrey be unga bunga or dps?
what seal do you recommend? alot of the seals are 1.5+ in weight which can be the difference between heavy and med load and then having to sacrifice armour pieces
I run the frenzied flame seal as that has no weight gain - I believe that's the same for the dragon communion and Golden Order seal too :)
just wanna say ur videos are super well done and usefull/enjoyable to watch
ty bro
Thank you so much, that means a lot to hear that! There’s plenty more coming in the future so feel free to stick around :)
If I want to play this build at level 200, what should I upgrade/max further in stats with the 50 extra points?
Realistically, get strength up to 80 then depending on the weapon you’re using as your main, you can delve more into dex or if you want to powerstance/use heavier armour then put more into endurance - I know I haven’t really answered the question but it really depends on what you want to do lol
Strenght is just ridiculous OP in this game, melting elden beast bar in Ng+7 with cragblade on strenght weapons has become my daily enjoyment haha thanks for another bang man!😊
Yeah, you seriously can’t go wrong with a good old strength build! Glad you’re enjoying the content :)
@@tkcjazza strenght/faith & strength/arcane is also a serious combo for NG+7 journeys. I’ve done them all but I usually like strength mixed with arcane or faith the most over any other category in game.
@@Shhh41 yeah, they tend to have the best AR’s/damage splits along with stance damage which is basically crucial in NG+7 runs - not many other builds come close :)
Maybe I'm just shite but I just finished ng+10 n godfrey was next to impossible, these bosses just get harder and harder and I'm like lvl 478
@@astonradley3995 there is no higher scaling than NG+7 on elden ring so if you finished journey 11 (NG+10) still has the same difficulty level as NG+7 (journey8)
In my personal experience anything above lvl200 is not needed however if you’re that high level you can have 80 on every stat and simply swap weapons/talismans all times without respec which is a plus.
Godfrey is alright if you know his moveset, but you could’ve got bad rng as well.
NG+7 journeys I don’t find any boss dreadful apart from elden beast, sometimes he just throws everything at you and it’s a very dreadful boring fight.
W build? Level 200 60vig 10mind 57endue 80stre dex 22 because of prosthesis 10 intelligence 25 faith 23 arcane America’s executioner blade commander standard, black ax, war, cry, claw seal, heavy iron balls w or L
whats the 3 stats into Intel for??
I didn’t put any stats into intelligence- my starting class was wretch so base stats for everything was 10
all of your information regarding cragblade is wrong.
the rubble does not "revert the weapon to a heavy scaling"
please look into cragblade.
Well, it does - I suggest using it yourself and looking at the AR differences to your weapon when you have it applied to when you don’t - you’ll see a big difference because the weapon is acting as if it has a “heavy” variant which is the entire point of Cragblade
So you can make your weapon a bleed variant to add bleed and when you use Cragblade you’ll have bleed & heavy variant active making one of the best strength combos in the entire game
Also, it gives an extra 15% damage boost and 10% stance damage boost ontop of everything else
There’s also multiple sources that show this is the case :)
@@tkcjazza no it dfoes not
the ar change is due to it using weapon buff mvs
please provide your "multiple sources"
@@QuackingNice I looked into it more and I misread what it does - I thought it changes the scaling (which I definitely thought was the case because the AR changes in the menus, which normally doesn't happen with other boosts) but it is the 15% change as you mentioned.
I was reading it as it changes the affinity (as the ash of war describes) AS WELL AS adding the 15% physical damage.
Sorry for getting it wrong and I will of course make sure I correct this in future :)
@@kingsmorely3697 Chill dude - I got one little thing wrong...
I don't go round spouting "Blatant misinformation", I am just doing my best bringing all sorts of fun builds for people to enjoy - Again, I got this fact wrong, which I have apologised for, but you don't need to go round name calling etc. because I made a simple mistake that is easily done and isn't that deep...
Still waiting for a qna
Still waiting on the questions - I only had like 4 😂😂 - I’ll be doing a channel update video so will probs answer a few questions in that :)
The build is cool, but it has a major drawback... it's terribly slow🙈
edit. Gargoyle's Twinblade is a cool weapon, but it has a big drawback - it doesn't break the opponent's base...
That's why you find your middle ground using things like Starfist/Iron Balls ;)
I have a feeling you don't know what you're talking about. I have not seen anyone be this wrong about cragblade.
Elaborate?..
It gives you +15% overall damage, +10% stance damage and turns the weapon into a “heavy” affinity (whilst the AoW is active) in terms of scaling - so at least an A rated scaling in strength but S for a load of weapons
Let me know what you think is wrong and then I can double/triple check
@@tkcjazza Cragblade doesn't change the scaling of the weapon. It increases PHYSICAL AP by 15%, Poise Damage by 10%, and Stamina damage by 50%. That is all.
@@zmoonlord21z5 it does change the scaling of the weapon - do it in your own game to try it for yourself, look at the AR of the weapon before applying Cragblade and then after, I guarantee it’ll change it by around 100 points - it’s because the weapon changes into a heavy variant and gets a higher scaling from strength
The video I’ve linked underneath shows me doing it myself and explaining how Cragblade works - go to 1:05 in the video below :)
ua-cam.com/video/_KfU_F_IbcU/v-deo.htmlsi=LbaT40pmdit_uY1L
@@tkcjazza The AR increase would be from the buff itself, the scaling does not change. Additionally, not even Fextralife says what you claim, despite the possibility of incorrect information on the site. Do you have explicit proof that it changed the SCALING of the weapon, and not just the AR? or are you making an assumption and presenting it as fact?
Even with the video you posted, I don't see the scaling attributes change. Heavy Gargoyle's Twinblades should have an A in scaling.
@@tkcjazza And guess what? In reference to your Blood Gargoyle's Twinblades
The AR before cragblade: 247 + 276 = 523
The AR after crag blade: 247 + 355 = 602
This happens to be EXACTLY a 15% increase (bar rounding errors), which is what cragblade does.
