Wow!!!!! This sounds flaming fantastic Geordie!!! Very nice fingerwork and pick control. You sir rock!!
Thanks Neil 👍
Great song, would love for you to do Music for the Last couple, one of my favourite bass riffs from him!
@Geordie Bassist - Class Work Sir, Chapeau h🎩
I will learn this in memory of Paul McEvoy, it was the final song at his funeral and I vowed I would. There is a drum track he made in 2015 with several guitarists and I’ve been asked to play the bass, there is no greater signal honour for me. RIP Paul McEvoy, The Best Graphic Designer, ‘79 Mod & Best Friend you could her wish for 🙏
Thanks Kevin I hope this cover helps you out and gives you an idea of how to play it 👍
Keep doing these Jam songs,please
brutal!!!!!!!!!!! punk rock jodeeeeeeeeeer!
Have been waiting for this one and you've done a brilliant job again. Top man.
Thanks m8 👍
Been a while since your last jam tracks....about time you done another....think theres at least 3 im waiting to hear...lol
Yeah it's been awhile I have took a little break from the jam but will get back to them soon cos there's still plenty great tracks to cover.
Many well done some good fit exactly like Bruce Foxton good work out.
Thanks 👍
Brilliant. Many, many thanks for this. Beer / coffee on their way.
Thanks Andrew 👍
Proper..
Great stuff. Thanks for posting.
Thanks 👍
👏👏👏👏
Thanks 👍
Absolutely spot on mate 👌🏻
Except, it's not.
Another song I did in my first band. THANKS for your hard work.
Just found your channel, loving your covers, and the tabs are a big bonus.
Hoping you'll do alot more of The Jam songs. 👍🏻
Thanks glad you enjoy the content, yeah I'm hoping to get back to doing more jam covers 👍
Another SUPERB cover. Is that a new Bass ? I've not seen you play that one before.
Thanks Jon 👍no I've had this one awhile I've just never used it that much.
Amazing
You've outdone yourself good Sir. This one has always given me problems in the past.
Thanks 👍I know what you mean, this one has taken awhile to do, it's not perfect but hopefully it will give others an idea of how to play it.
@@TheGeordieBassist you’ve convinced me it’s the bass part!
Great as usual! Jazz bass seems to work really well with the jam even though foxton didn’t play one. Good thing because it’s the only bass I’ve got lol
Thanks 👍nah he never used a jazz bass, a p bass would make it sound and look more authentic but I like the neck on the jazz.
@@TheGeordieBassist yeah I much prefer the ergonomics of a jazz. I’d love a Rick but I won’t be able to afford one any time soon lol
@@sknuts6429 I tried playing my p bass again but after playing the jazz for quite awhile it was like holding a cricket bat lol yeah there not cheap them rics!
@@TheGeordieBassist I didn’t get what the fuss was about with rics until I played one at a vintage guitar store and thought “suddenly I understand why this is worth $3000”
@@sknuts6429 I used to have a thunder bird bass but could never get used to it maybe it was the longer scale I'm not sure if a ric would feel the same way, but you get what you pay for!
Love this one. 👏👍
Thanks 👍
Love it mate 👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks, brilliant as usual
Thanks 👍

I’m sorry to say this, but I think you’ve done this one wrong.
If you read the description I do say it's my interpretation! It's my last jam cover anyway time to move on.
@@TheGeordieBassist oh fair enough, shame though as there are many good bass lines still to go!
@@benweeks626 true there's still plenty of good songs and I might get to them at a later date. How do you think I could of done this one right?
@@TheGeordieBassist I think the main verse has too many notes and the chorus is slightly off, the rest is quite accurate IMO. I may be wrong of course, but I’ve had a re-listen and I think I’m correct, but as you say we all have our own interpretations. Sorry if I appeared rude, it was not my intention also
@@benweeks626 Ya probably right, only bruce would know how to play it right and I'm definitely not bruce lol. Non of my covers are perfect or note for note anyway, I don't try to replicate foxton.
