Yeah but they tend to suspend more in creeks than they do on the Main lake, at least where I fish. One time I was catching Crappies on a Telephone pole in about 10 feet of water but they would come up and eat my top jig sometimes that was only rigged like a foot deep.
If i can find a good crappie lake in my part of Michigan this summer I'm using your rigs and techniques I loved the way you hook your minnows. Definitely getting one of those crappie sticks too.
Where in Michigan you live? I'm there too. I have great success catching outta small marina areas or inlet bays off lake Huron. Also try Houghton or Higgins Lake. All have nice slabs.
Bro I want to go fishing with you some day. My Lil Hommie and I went to Palestine Lake last week after I watched your video about fishing the Docks. I was telling him that the 903 fishing dude said fish the docs . So we tried it and caught a lot of none keeper bass but no crappies. I told him that Mr 903 fishing caught them all we have to wait until they replenish. I just don't know how long that will take? We had been normally going to the 155 bridge by pillar 26 .
Man I only dock shoot post spawn, and a little bit in the fall. But the best times are definitely post spawn. Late April and May. Thanks for watching! God bless
It’s a slip cork. You move the bobber stop to the desired depth. Go to my channel and go to playlist, then go to “how to” videos. And there is a video on how I rig up my slip bobber for crappie fishing. Works every time. God bless and thanks for watching!
I lost a nice pencil style slip cork yesterday. I forgot to put a stopper below my cork like I normally do. DARN BASS! If you insist on not using a slip cork, then always do a countdown after every cast. It's the only way I know to make sure you are deep enough without a cork.
