I really appreciate a video like this. I just recently made my first HB deck (Vorinclex) and want to keep playing new decks. My historic library is not that large. Great video!
Literally used my only M. Wildcard to get this commander and I played it based on what CGB said: "I firmly believe you can play this commander with your favorite cards of each type and it will work"...out of 10 games so far, this has only lost once lol. I love this commander.
Atraxa is in the wrong tier, it should be playing with niv, golos, and prismatic bridge. Wizards needs to pay more attention and adjust things. (Edit i just got to the end of the video and this is addressed)
I love manually tapping for mana occasionally as a fiddle thing to help me collect my thoughts. I do it in paper, too. Arena makes me feel better about doing it with the whole flashy mana lights and cool sounds. I wouldn't do it to waste my opponents time though that's for sure.
Last time I played this Atraxa in commander, I ended up with 50 cards in hand just from blinking Atraxa over 2 turns. The attempt on my brain cells has left me scarred and deformed.
Nooo I liked that light animation. Also you are a really good player to be fair. I constantly forget something on the board or order a trigger wrong. I would love a short series on your deck building methods and like a lesson series. I like how your brain thinks xD
Great outtro. You put it well and I hope more players and WotC can see the issue with these commanders and level of match making imbalance there really is.
Been playing against over 50% Atraxa decks all morning and yeah… this Commander can go straight to hell (queue). It’s impossible to beat it with anything other than super fast aggro or other hell queue decks :(
Emmy! Don't encourage people to play Atraxa! I hit the like button cause I can't dislike any of your content, but know you are making the world a worst place by creating this deck
The point I'm trying to make in this video is that attraction should not be something that matches up against every other player, it's so powerful on its own that it should be relegated to terrible matchmaking
Have you considered playing a Historic Brawl deck with Bilbo, Retired Burglar as a commander? I've been having a ton of fun with him in draft decks and I think he'd be a bitchin commander but I don't usually play that format and am super overwhelmed by all the options. I've started at deleted at least a dozen decks
TBH, sometimes playing weaker/low-rarity cards in Brawl can pair you against other budget players, giving you a fairer chance of winning instead of facing something with a pile of 75 mythic rares. So, this strategy is very viable. It's the same logic for using a "janky" commander in Brawl, it will pair you against other janky commanders more often and you may have an easier time than trying to win a lot in hell queue
I've watched a lot of videos of her (old to new ones) and damn somehow the newer the videos are, the more and louder she screams around (like pronounciation of cards, like "URZAAAAAAAA" etc.). I kinda dislike watching her more and more because of that, her older videos didn't comment everything 24/7 and were more chill to watch.
Leaving her out of hell queue for so long is a true Atraxaty
Please do more of these they are very useful for us with not many cards/wildcards.
Right now, these videos are underperforming, so I'm less likely to make more budget decks. I did make a Calix one as well
Dang man@@Amazonian

This was super helpful as someone getting started with Brawl. Getting a lot of Brawl staples that I can simply hit "craft on"

I loved this content ... Makes easy to get a start with the deck, and upgrade it little by little
This girl I built as an equipment commander! You have the equipment creatures, enchantments and artifact planeswalkers to hit all your types
Now I'm hoping they start rare-less Brawl as a midweek Magic event. Granted it would probably be mostly Tapioca land decks and Dina
Love some tapioca ❤
Oh my~! This is a nice idea! So hard to come by with rare and mythic rare wildcards when youre playing free...
Great outtro. You put it well and I hope more players and WotC can see the issue with these commanders and level of match making imbalance there really is.
I almost didnt watch the video out of hate bc Atraxa. But this was a great showcase of just how strong it is...
Right? The card is a mistake
this is such a cool idea!! would love to see this with other strong commanders
Omg I love the art on that mulldrifter!!!!
Omg a budget deck?!? You're my hero!
this was really fun. love the budget idea
Love this series, even if it's underperforming, it's great. thank you so much!
I'm finally winning matches! Thanks for this deck!
29:17 a card from Faeria isn't it?
Such an enjoyable presentation! Fun.
This is Signpost Uncommon dot Deck and I am HERE for it

This is just what I needed to wake up to. Thanks Amy!

Thank you for making a budget video❤!!!!!
Yes, budget content! Thanks Amy, this is already the best idea for a video
nice mr limpet reference

Grand Unifier basically wins you the game if it resolves, its etb is so busted

The rarity of the cards in your deck does not affect your matchmaking in historic brawl
@@ashtheswan705 are you sure? I think it does for play queue
It does yeah
Love your videos. Have you ever made a mech deck, for historic brawl
Nope, but I've thought about making Kylar cars
Ragavan and 99 basic mountains.
I hear Final fantasy 9 music!
Almost Artisan!
I play Frodo and I can tell they didn't know how to play that deck properly. Playing Frodo on turn one is a mistake
Ironically, I don't have enough uncommon wildcards for this XD
Update : I now have enough uncommon wildcards and this deck is still decent
If you can’t beat them, join them! Hail Atraxa lol 😂
Brilliant
The big sister. Sigh! :P
Atraxa and her sister, Atraxa
Your playing my favorite magic deck yay. I love love LOVE the grand Unifier
I HATE HER HATE HER GRRR STUPID CARD
Urabrask/ new baral? Plis?
I run into Jodah decks so much its not even funny!

I think it depends on my level of caffeine and sleep when recording
I think it's more of someone being happy doing something they enjoy. She's just letting her personality shine through and it's a beautiful thing.
