I got this game on one of those 100 yen Game Boy cart graveyards that some stores have and I'm loving it. Usually anime-based games are super easy or full of text I don't want to spend time translating. This game is challenging but not frustrating and keeps the cut-scenes to a minimum. With the levels being usually very short I see the game as a sort of puzzle-platformer.
I agree, i liked how the game plays and the effort put into to the animation. For me the biggest problem was the skidding factor, and maybe the fact that having so many animation can make you take damage no matter what in some situations and that, despite the game letting you have tons of life, is something that i don't like in games. Besides that it was a nice experience, i might as well see the animated series now.
I dont think I've ever seen animations of this caliber in a gameboy like this. But I can definitely see this being a hindrance. Kind of like Monster Hunter I guess. Fun to watch yourself drink a potion and then pose, but not during a big fight haha. Great video. Never thought I'd see one like this!
Exactly... The amount of times I skidded into an enemy or crashed into a wall made me groan out loud. It looks amazing, but it really does get in the way of the game play which is a shame. That said, the animation is the draw here... take it away and I fear it'd become super generic! Cheers for watching dude, let me know if you end up playing it!

Yes I played that game quiet a bit. First I was frustrated, but then I got the hang of it and really liked it

Looks cute, but I don't want to play it. Though I want to try out the anime. I think Osamu Dezaki directed it.
I really enjoyed the anime from what I've seen, the latest incarnation of it was very funny!
