Even then, that would be super hard to do so cause you would essentially have to buy that siren from ASC. Assuming they are willing to sell it for parts.

i dont think a 2 feet IN DIAMETER piece of plastic is gonna survive being spun around 60 TIMES PER SECOND in a slightly bigger piece of metal in a 1000+ pounds big-ass metal bucket
@@Airplane432this p50 took quite a beating in a storm 10 years ago, and around 2 months before sirencon 2024, a piece of the broken projector got sucked into the chopper and cracked it, that's why the siren was taken off the pole and replaced, and when sirencon 2024 kicked off, the chopper finally fractured from the high rpm, the gradual bump start, and fatigue. The chopper then friction welded itself to the stator, frying the motor in the process. The reason for the bump start was because they were worried that the high load from the chopper motor on the generator would cause it to fail prematurely, they took the same precaution the previous year with ASC's stored cyclone 125, which uses the same motor and chopper as the p50
That's a rough way to go :( At least now I know what sound is left after a siren suddenly cuts out, and with one of the beefiest electric ones at that! So who wants a repair and restoration project now? Gonna need $$$ that's certain!

@@polygoned_cheese Actually, P-50's are 50 horsepower. The horsepower your bikes engine is equivalent to a P-15 which is a 15HP siren. The penetrator sirens are modeled by their motors horsepower. I.e. P-10= 10HP P-50= 50HP etc.
I think the Problem Here was that the Chopper welded it self to the rotor Because of heat (Friction) I never heared a P-50 Go high like that so Maybe the Overvoltage you put on it Caused the Chopper To spin as Fast that it Welded it self Thus Locking the Chopper Because a Normal Penetrator 50 Uses a Brush Type While T-135 Type P-50 Uses Some else.
135 Db's at a 100 feet. That's 100 feet! Now imagine you right next to the thing without hearing protection. I can imagine anything above 250 to 300 Db's! This thing could actually kill you if you were up close without hearing protection.
