Mannn that’s how you handle shit! Straight grown man shit. As a 30 year old, I love an respect this. This is what I wanna see from OGs!
That's what your get with OGs It's these young clowns that got life fuck up
I wanna see this with young dudes.
Get this though homie, as a 36 year old I also respect tactful intellect. At 30 you learn how to be reactivate, but at 36 you learn how to be proactive. In other words, fat Joe knew this could possibly be misconstrued on the internet. Everything doesn't have to be announced, ya know? Have that conversation with Trick and let him proclaim it. He seems to be walking that fine line of informative information and clout chasing these days bro. 🤷🏾♂️
Luke is the discoverer. Fat Joe is the facilitator.
Well stated!
I love seeing grown men handle issues like grown men. Just communicate and we can figure out whatever, keep getting money, and go home to our families.
Miami cats are very welcoming but they don’t play 23:25
You can be all that, but it don’t always have come to that. In Detroit as long as you mind your own business and stay where you supposed to be you’ll never have a problem. Stepping out of line will always turn out crazy and I’m sick of watching what went “Left” on the news every day. We need to start dealing with our BS and handling our issues better.

The title of this video is the problem with a lot of hip hop heads. Change CONFRONT to CONVERSE.

Real shit. I did not know his impact to hip hop overall until I watched the Netflix show “Hip-Hop Evolution”. And I’m sure that show only give a fraction of the story.
Luke is just respectfully letting Joe thinks what he wants to think... Joe needs to stop giving himself flowers 💐
It's a reason why Uncle Luke is the king of Miami
I'm glad Fat Joe and Luke fixed that because people love to see drama.. Now that is how grown men do not boy bs. NY and Miami got love for each other never let no one divide that💯
Damn Joe ate alot of " crow" on this one. He " fashioned" his truth.

I LOVE seeing this. A teachable moment.
These young rapper of today need to learn from the old rappers. I like how Luke and fat Joe handled that.

Out of all the comments bro this is the ONE. It can't be explained any better.

Luke aint stuttering, eyes aint darting from side to side. No repetitions. To the point. Era's are mentioned. Genuine givers never speak on the things they do for others. Luke has been quiet for decades. The Khaled story alone goes to show. I never understood people that would do something for someone then let the whole world know/ hold a person to ransom. This dude is a representative of our STREET Bass, SOUND. Humble legend. Luke was had it popping. Sunshine Skate station. Miami Pac Jams. Our history is vast. We had a culture of D.J. groups. Big speakers. Big party's. Neighborhood/Block/Parks/Beach. I would love to see a movie that captures this phenomenon of South FL in the early 80's when Luke was a D.J. lugging all those speakers and records to venues. Power 96 was the more Latin variety Dance variety, Pop station. 99Jams was more Miami sound and some N.Y. Hip Hop. The South FL across the bridge. Not South Beach is what I am talking about. Salute.
Need to make a movie about Miami like how ice cube and snoop do with Los Angeles.
from west palm beach FL born and lived in Ny for years also and i stamp this
In the early stages of Hip-Hop everyone was trying to sound like the rappers in New York. Miami was one of the few cities that had it's own unique style. And if there was a Hip-Hop Mount Rushmore, Luke would have to be on it
UNCLE LUKE A TRIPLE OG LEGEND(ON MANY LEVELS) .. JOPRAH .. U GOTTA RELAX ..
JOEPRAH becoming Joeylake! Where’s @RickiLake ?😂
So is Fat Joe....make no mistake about it......,💯
Triple OG STATUS!!! I use to see him at The Riviera in Chicago, Tony Bitoy Productions
What Joe saying wasn't a lie cause if he handed over Trick's tape he was telling the truth and if if he was the plug for Atlantic for Pitbull then that's what it is. Cause Luke never said Joe never did the things he did. So Luke did help discover them in Miami, but when it comes to their deals then yes Joe played a part in that, which in turn help the whole world discover them.
@@jarrodcook449 Don’t get it twisted fat joe is the forest gump of hip hop. He’s been involved in the culture and has been involved in so many people’s stories it’s crazy. Our comments are subjective. Genes however are like a box of chocolates.
"Ghetto Style Dj's".....I'd love to see and hear more about Miami's history with that Bass style. I grew up on an Army base in Mo. and fell in love with Hip-Hop in elementary school. Always had a "boom box" and became obsessed with music. I would trade and dub cassettes with kids that recently moved from cities like N.Y. , Philly, Miami, etc. At 12 I knew I was gonna be a dj and used to study and emulate my favorite Dj's. Around 87' I fell in love with that Miami bass style and tried to emulate their Dj's, like Tretch Dj Mr. Mixx and Magic Mike. I'm so grateful that I grew up in that era. Oh yeah, and the first club that I ever worked at (Starlight, Hinesville Ga./Fort Stewart)had 2 live crew there for a show about 2 months after I was hired. It was just Fresh Kid Ice(rip)& Brother Marquise and a few strippers. NO DJ. They just used a pre-recorded tape with just 3 songs. But anyway it felt pretty cool to go on after them to close the night. And even got the chance to flex and show the skills when one of their bouncers asked if I knew how to cut and scratch. So after a lil Miami style mix with the cuts and all, he just shook his head and dapped me up. It woulda been alot cooler if it was Tretch, but it still felt pretty cool

This speaks to Trick, Pitbull and Khalid influence and talent, cause it was more than one HipHop legend promoting and supporting them.

Take Khalid out Miami was doing they thang before he came.
@@chadbutler8634 Is that a rhetorical question? He’s not a rapper, but he has and have had more features in his short career than just about any and everyone throughout the history of HipHop. That’s influence by definition.
