Great tip. Just found 2 $1 Philippine victory notes where Philippine was spelled with 2 ll’s. Got the notes for half price of what they should have been.
I love these notes! I literally just got one today. Got a $2 graded CU65 EPQ by PMG. It's such a beautiful note. I've got my eyes on a $100 graded AU55.
If you look at the original photograph of Queen Elizabeth that was taken by Yousaf Karsh, you can see the face slightly. It was the highlights that made it look like that.Engraver George Gunderson got alot slack for that, when,in fact, the Queens hairdresser made her hair look like that
Ha great info on this one. I’ve actually not heard about this before. Probably because I don’t collect foreign paper money or coins I am just not versed on it. Anyhow, thanks for sharing!
I know for sure the $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, and $100. I think the better question is what denominations were available in 1954? I want to say that there was $1000 and $500 available. I would assume a $50 as well but I don't have books (yet) on world currency.
Good job explaining how to identify the devil’s face features on the bills. Now I can spot the variety.
Cool finds and great video.
Thanks 👍

Nice finds. I've found 5 Barr notes in one day. All in bad shape though. Nice devil face 2 dollar. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! 5 Barrs, wow! Even currency has collection dumps! My $2 is much nicer than my $1! Take care!

Very nice! Mine are all raw only going up to the $20 but I have both versions. Maybe some day I will snag the $50 and the $100.
I'm hoping to get a $100 soon. Graded AU55 by PMG. It's a beautiful note.
I have never heard of the Devil's head note before. I love the design of those Canadian notes. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be safe!
