Yes, that's the method for min maxing. I just did half and craft to be more "normie friendly", you're a giga chad in figuring that out, good job in doing it in switch!

So there is a core mechanic/animation of forager that combines the same type of items or drops into 1 bundle.. this is just abusing the fact that they combine into one bundle.. so in this scenario before they combine into 1 bundle, you walk into it in basically getting the two uncombined items first and then getting the combine items, after that action..so you dupe the item in a way.

Yep.. 1. Get ingredients to forge 2. Stay behind the forging building 3. Click the item to forge, click "half" then "craft" 4. Repeat it again, "half" and "craft" (the 1st ingredients will drop) 5. Repeat it once again, "half" and "craft" and get ready to run over the items once the ingredients starts to fall.. *be patient it takes some practice.
I'm using this to dupe boss summon items meaning once all the boss items are done crafting and I kill all the bosses I'll have 1400+ spirit orbs and I'll be doing 2000+ damage
It picks up crafted items, cancelling crafting even with the method of crafting a new set of items doesn't trigger it I still don't get how to do the glitch I don't know the timing Edit: it works it depends on when you pick up the items, but it is hard to do it consistently
I did it as of july 31st 2023 on my series s but it is finicky as hell, I had to try for a couple of minutes but anything is better than leaving it idle for hours
Im trying to dupe the Nuclear Machinery you gotta use the factory by the side and do it i can do dupe eveything else but the material ONYX RELIC i can dupe the COSMIC STEAL and NUCLEAR FUEL CELL but not the ONYX can you try to dupe the item on console to see if works for you if not non dupable item

yep it's all about timing.. just notice in the screen the time that the items dropped then run them over.. for me it's always when the 2nd drop animation is starting with my position on the back of the building that gets the timing right.

works on xbox 10/18/2021 even with the auto pickup skill as well. went from level 19 to 65 instantly after selling billions of wood

It still works as of July 3, 2021. Takes some time though.

Still works as of Oct 1st 2023 Series X. Pain in the ass but works🎉
