In my opinion he said a lot . Youth and mistakes and finding your own way and faith, and betrayal ,and relationship a lot of themes. I recognize myself in this movie .( I am not native speaker)
the last 4 of Malicks films seem more like extended silent documentaries on how white women take long walks, short walks, what a waste of Chivo, who could be doing real great cinema with other filmmakers, I'd love to see what could come out of a Denis Vellaneuve Lubezki partnership for example, or do another Iñarritu Film.
It's getting out of hand. It is heartening that he's returning to structure in his latest World War 2 movie. He peaked at The Thin Red Line/The New World/parts of The Tree of Life.
Joe Smith I've watched all his films. Never once did i witness any "shaky cam".His shots are smooth, fluid, and effortless as if the camera was being carried on cloud. I think you might experiencing some ptsd from the last Paul Greengrass movie you saw.
Loved this movie soooo much

Avenger07 I feel pretty satisfied with Villeneuve's partnership with Deakins. Nolan's movies could definitely benefit from lubezki
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
More pretentious incomprehensible shaky camera crap from Terrence Malick.

Joe Smith shaky camera? I can respect your opinion on the other points you made but that one is just flat out false.
Yes, shaky camera. Have you never watched any of his films?

Whatever dude, you're just not very observant, that's all.
This was the worst movie of 2017 IMO. Typical self-indulgent Malick, didn't even have the existential themes of the overrated Knight of Cups.
So why you here ? Maybe you haven't grown up to this level if you can't understand and accept.
@@natalinatali1482 This level? The level of the movie was extremely low.
