2021 SEAT Ateca review - an affordable SUV that's actually fun to drive?! | Long-term test

- The 2021 SEAT Ateca is smoother looking, higher tech and more, well… cursive than ever. But dubious badges aside, is it any good? My mate Phill's been living with this car for four months, so I chat to him and take it for a drive myself to see if a £24,000 SUV with a 1.0-litre engine can be any good.

With all due respect i don't think anyone buys an Ateca for speed...they're just great big roomy sturdy family cars for getting the kids to school getting to work and getting the shopping ...Great review 👍
Rodie cracking me up twice before the first minute of the video has passed - classic! 😂Love your work, man. Keep the good stuff coming!
Hey Tim ! Just Subscribed on the back of your Mini Electric review with May.
Good work. You seem to have hit the market at about the same calibre as Johnny Smith.
And He's Brilliant ! 🙂
Ah! It must be a Rodie Saturday. Podcast followed by Tim vid. Keep at it son, the numbers will happen.
All seems perfectly reasonable.
I am suitably whelmed 🤓
It looks really nice, i want to know what a 1.4 or 1.5 is like to drive. I shy'd away from the 150bhp ford kuga when i discovered they were 3 cylinder, as a novice i thought thats alot of work for 3.
Just saw this channel and your comedy is funny and not forced.
A decent review also.
Thank you so much!
@@TimRodieDrivesStuff most welcome, keep it up 👌🏻
Apparently SEAT will re-enter the Australian market in 2022 as Cupra.
You will get the top trim 1.5 TSI EVO Xperience Lux DSG for just under 25k if you negotiate, the car in this video 19.5K.
I like the look. But need an auto with a larger boot, we carry a lot of stuff.
Does Phil have a UA-cam channel?
can you not open the boot using the key at least ?
A manual gearbox in an SUV?
Yes, I like to shift by myself. Automatic starts to be suitable on an 8 cylinder 5,8 Liter engine but only with torque converter
Poor Phil lol
He's survived, annoyingly
YOU MEAN " OVER RATED" compare a 20 year old Nissan Xtrail to a 2021 Ateca and there's NO Comparison.
Sack your design team guys, DATED apart from the 2 ltr drisel engine.
