As you all know, we left the house for a couple of weeks so I thought there was enough progress on our new project here in Thailand to provide an update. I think our wall should be finished very soon and once we have the property secure, we can start at least on a couple of enclosures. With so many things going on in different countries, it is always a nice distraction to look out the window from across the street and see progress. We are still not 100% sure on our vision but our private zoo is slowly forming and ideas are always coming. Thanks for watching!!!

Nice to finally see people closer to my age building their dream animal property! So many younger you tubers with reptile animal properties in their early 20’s. I’m 45 nice to know it can still be a reality at my age .
The nice thing is that we didn't do it for UA-cam or any other reason other than we just wanted somewhere cool to spend our time. It will still pale in comparison to the "entertainers" out there. The 6-7 dollars I get from this video will not even feed the emu for three days lol.
Amazing things going on over at the Dmexotics compound. Creating a real slice of heaven. I love to see it !!! Awesome job Dan and Apple
The way that cat snake was able to reach the tree from that far was so impressive. Thailand seems like a beautiful place to live! Love the video man!
Good morning Dmextios have a wonderful day good job have a super day have a great day have a nice day have a awesome day have a cool day
Love how yall share everything with us as we ( the viewers ) are part of the family and we thank you for that .... love how you switch up your videos and not the same thing over and over ... huge thank you two very much appreciated 🎉 great video love how the property is coming along cant wait to see the "finished " property as i know it will never be done done always adds and changes but ive very excited to see how it comes out 😊😊
I always enjoy seeing the land and can’t wait to see animals on it. 😊
Dream life! ❤Goodluck ✌️ 🤞
It's always good to see you Dan!! Hope you and Apple are doing well!! One snake I really like is the King Cobra!! Stay safe and have a nice day!!
Looking forward to seeing this zoo completed in the near future! ❤
Pipe snakes! Once upon a time, I did a Mekong Delta tour in Vietnam and we stopped at this place where a guy just handed me a snake without telling me what it was. I put a lot of trust in that guy, cause he could have handed me something dangerous lol.
Congrats ,,,, I am happy for u guys ,,, keep ballin '
Fence looks good!!! Cant wait to see more on what you will be doing on this land.
wonderful to learn of your project guys...living your Dream...look forward in following your journey ..Thankyou for sharing....XX Apple you look beautiful, such a joyful smile..
The fence is nice, congratulations
We are excited for you both ! Can’t wait to see the property all finished and for what your bringing into the US this June !
The offerings for June are going to be insane but we are mostly going by pre-order so what comes will be controlled by what people order. I know there will be lots of people walking up to our expo tables and asking about the animals that they didn't pre-order but the serious people are paying close attention and the casual people usually are not. I am all-in over here so lets see how the US and EU markets are on the reciprocal side.
That's so cool Dan!
Congrats! So happy to have met you guys in person in Vegas. This video really shows the love you guys share btwn each other
❤ 💪
Awesome cynea! Very cool! Love boiga
You two are the best ❤
Like it ideal Matching gates , and Sign 🍎 Proud of 👍 , so hot I reminder it being 100 at night , then around 3 am ever thing cool down, thank 4 sharing 😄
Man you take "you only live once" seriously, love to see it. We live the same way we just don't travel. We've begun building our own zoo here in Florida. Along with select reptiles we have added big cats and wolves . It's a good life . Good luck with your zoo
Good video Dan I've never commented before but been watching for years. It's coming on great well done
Nice man that looks really sweet the yard. It looks really nice. The snake was the steaks were really nice to the pipe snake look a little like a king snake. I thought good video.
good afternoon and that name is so great idea Apple like The DM Exotics zoo or park that cool and awesome
Just imagine, what could be done with croc monitors on your property.
nice tour, can't wait to see what you will have in the zoo.
Coming along nicely guys.👍
For the wall that backs to the forest, have you thought of placing pvc pipes or corrugated tubing and building the wall over them? That way, when the wall is up, there will be segways for snakes to come and go from your property without having to climb the wall. Might be a cool way to keep wildlife coming and going from the property once the wall is in place?
No not really, it isn't a refuge for local animals but the wall in the back doesn't go down into the foundation because it is level ground and it is our land. We did that along the sides to close larger gaps on the uneven land and our neighbours probably don't want dirt and gravel constantly spilling into their fields.
Awesome job!
Getting exciting!!!!
I'm jealous.
It's bitterly cold here in the UK & what small amount of reptile species we have here are all in hibernation.
Glad to see your knee surgery worked. Hope you are well.
I am grateful every day. Never had any knee issues until last summer when I injured it. Suddenly not being able to walk very well was a very humbling experience and I will never take that for granted again or push my luck at my age. I will be in permanent rehab status by choice, stretching, cardio and exercise with "the use it or lose it" mentality.
"Maybe we will see some scorpions"...words uttered by few(or any)women! You won the lottery when you married Apple..
Another great video!
Love it
Great video
So Beautiful !
You got an amazing set up , beautiful house. I’ve done my fair share of fencing and that is definitely a sturdy fence.
Thank you. We keep trying to convince ourselves it will be good enough for the rainy season. I have pushed and pulled on it a fair bit and I think it should be good.
💚
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very fun stuff! I'm wondering if you plan to keep the fence impermeable to small animals, like herps, rodents etc. Seems you'd like to have some interchange with the local environs. But then, I'm sure you've given it all much thought so I'd like to hear your thinking on that.
We don't really want rodents coming in but that fence is not airtight to small animals so I am sure we will find the occasional visitor. Humans are the only local wildlife we prefer to keep out.
Thats really coming along nicely. Some very hard work people doing that work, and in the heat as well. What Animals you like? If you both like the same it will be good. If you like different it will be varied.
They have been working very hard and some days have been really hot. It's normal for them though, they live here and this is what they do for a living. For animals we will just take our time...not looking to just fill it up as fast as possible. I prefer to just have the space when I need it for whatever comes around that we like. We are also going to do this in comfortable steps as money allows and since this is not a business venture so it will be over the course of some time.
That sounds great. It will be a lot more that way than rushing it. Just enjoy it all. I suppose the people are used to the heat though I've got a friend in Zambia who always complains that too hot. He is from there and he has always lived there. Then again I've got friends in the Philippines and never complain at all.
Hi Dan, silly question maybe but is that metal treated for rust? You mentioned about the storms you get so was just checking what the lifespan would be on those sheets?
I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that that's galvanized metal.
Not sure what the lifespan will be but we looked at the other options for walls made of concrete and block. It is a huge property and that wall would have cost a fortune. If I live long enough to see that wall breakdown and need replacement, I can afford that. The other options would have me begging for people to donate to a gofundme because we don't have money like that.
Capybara mean Dan's getting a Retic
To use imported capybara as retic food? Highly doubtful, when there is plenty of other common mammals to use as retic food (if Dan is even getting a retic in the first place).
There are no retics in my future....first the snake, then a beard and zoo keepers uniform and it becomes a race to the bottom. That's a slippery slope...
@@DMExotics That's an even better reason why omuerta7605's statement made no sense.
Do they really want capybaras loose in Thailand?
Or are they already invasive?
I wish they were invasive so I could just go catch some instead of paying lots of money for them lol
@@DMExotics give it 20 years they will be.
@@keithfaulkner6319 Not sure where you are going with this comment. It sounds like you are anti-exotic pet keeper. Capybara, mara, cassowary, primates, even up to the big stuff are available in this country now(also in your country). If someone has the capability to keep with space, time, money, etc...I see no reason why they cannot.
@@DMExotics no no no.
Not at all.
I've kept everything in my home from parrots to dwarf caimen.
My favorite snakes are African Rock Pythons.
It's just, given the hysteria these days, i thought somebody in " AUTHORITY " might be worried.
@@keithfaulkner6319 here nothing is a problem until it’s a problem
