That would be an interesting idea if you want to fish only the middle part of the water column. Unless you have a leader that is long enough to hit a few inches above max depth, with some weight on it for the bait to hang there (in presence of current).
I used to check IG when EPF uploaded for his Florida videos. Of course when I stop checking he comes to Florida. Atleast he wasn't nearby this time. Last time he went to 2 of the spots I use and I didn't get to see him.

Hey Leo, you should check out Flamingo Visitors Center. It's in the Everglades national park and is a hotspot. The fishing and wildlife out there is insane. Pretty cool place to visit
