  • Being early May and with the cold weather approaching, I decided to head back to the mountains and fish the Big River which runs into Lake Eildon. A tranquil location that boasts some great fishing from time to time. On this day, it certainly didn't disappoint once again.

    Gday mate are you just tying a lure to your line each time you swap out? Trying to figure out whether I should run a leader into a snap swivel to make it easy to changes lures on the go

      Yes mate, I like to tie a loop knot to my lure. i have used a lure clip, but i have found sometimes the lure does not swim correctly each cast.
