    Hello Kenny, a simple explanation on the bent trees, BigFoot of coarse!😂 Cool video 👍🏼🇺🇸

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  2 роки тому +3

      That's one explanation.......I hope that's it!
      Unfortunately I noticed this summer that a lot of smaller trees had tons of leaves on top, and hardly any on the middle or lower part of the tree. I think it's because of the forests tall canopy. For that reason the trees slowly bent over making an arch.....I was hart broken.
      I still want to believe in Bigfoot!

    My first pair of day boots in the fire department where Chippewa boots. I held on to those boots for years. Eventually, my department changed vendors and that is the end of that story. I have spent the last 8 days (still here) on the Misquote Heat wildfire in Texas. This fire has definitely changed my Memorial Day weekend plans. One of the benefits of a truck camper is its ease of use and maneuverability. Even though I can't attend our holiday weekend plans my wife Is still able to go without me thanks to our Lance 995 truck camper.

    Some trees tend to lean into an opening to reach for more sun, then what can happen is if leaves are on that same tree in the spring and a late snow occurs with those leaves, that can really bow over trees that are already bent over some and not substantial enough to withstand the stresses. Not saying that is the reason for these bowed trees but it is one reason why that can happen.

    • @KennyOfAllTrades

    I know you'll probably think I'm crazy Kenny but if you do some research, Sasquatch are known to do that with trees. They bend them over into arches and intertwine them in another tree sometimes stabbing them down into the ground. Not joking. They also build structures shaped like teepees.

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  Рік тому +1

      Back when I was about 18 years old, there was a swamp that I drove past almost daily. Somehow, someone or something tore a tree out of the ground and stuck it upside down in that swap. The roots of the tree were really big. It stood there for about 5 years.

    Hi Kenny. Where is the pump for your airbags located? Have you ever had problems with the airbag system in sub-freezing weather?

    • @KennyOfAllTrades
      @KennyOfAllTrades  2 місяці тому +1

      I'll have to try an instant pot. That would be an excellent idea. The compressor is mounted inside the frame rails of the truck. It freezes up every winter. It's a big pain. I would put it in the cab, but it's very loud. That would not be an option for me. I was thinking about putting in airline antifreeze, but instead, I carry a small 12v compressor for the winter.

      Then I check OnX hunt. It's a paid app that give you property parcel information. It tells you owner name, address, and property boundaries. That's how I find out what land is public and what is private. Then I use Google maps to find possible pull offs and campsites.

      It's a Rad Power Bike. The model is a Mini 4. I really like the bike. They have a couple stores on the west coast. When I bought the bike they were only online. I had to deal with their customer service one time. The bike showed up damaged on delivery. They sent out a new thumb shifter next day mail. I'm really happy with the bike.

      Oh I know! I've been fishing these lakes for 40 years. I've never failed at fishing like I did that summer. Maybe it's because I was only throwing plastics. I watch guys down south throw plastics and land monsters out of private ponds. I'll get back into live bait this summer. I was trying to get away from buying bait every weekend, but it didn't work.
