That's one explanation.......I hope that's it! Unfortunately I noticed this summer that a lot of smaller trees had tons of leaves on top, and hardly any on the middle or lower part of the tree. I think it's because of the forests tall canopy. For that reason the trees slowly bent over making an arch.....I was hart broken. I still want to believe in Bigfoot!

Sweet campsite! And, some seriously good looking soup. I’ve cooked that in a hole over night. I lined the hole with coals, covered the top with coals, and buried it with earth. The coals added a light smoked flavor. That looks like a three day kind of place. Thanks, Kenny!

My first pair of day boots in the fire department where Chippewa boots. I held on to those boots for years. Eventually, my department changed vendors and that is the end of that story. Just to let you know... there is a reason those trees are leaning over. Trees are simply opportunistic. They will reach for sunlight and open areas because they can, if they can. I enjoyed this video!

I'm hoping Mandi can get out soon as well. I honestly should do the low carb thing as well. There are a lot of really good options. There's no doubt I have a sugar addiction.
@@KennyOfAllTrades It is hard. I have a sugar addiction too but Fred is good about reminding me that I need to cook healthy, lol. I am so glad that one of us tries to keep us on track. However, i can't pass up the ice cream.
Some trees tend to lean into an opening to reach for more sun, then what can happen is if leaves are on that same tree in the spring and a late snow occurs with those leaves, that can really bow over trees that are already bent over some and not substantial enough to withstand the stresses. Not saying that is the reason for these bowed trees but it is one reason why that can happen.
Curved bent trees are from MN winters. Last winter was really bad for this. We had to clear trails to travel. Go for a walk or snow shoe in the winter you will see what is causing the bend. Especially after a snow fall
This definitely felt relaxing. I wish u caught a fish tho, u would have had d perfect dinner. Ah well, there’s always another day. I agree Mandi would love hanging out with u there 😊

I know you'll probably think I'm crazy Kenny but if you do some research, Sasquatch are known to do that with trees. They bend them over into arches and intertwine them in another tree sometimes stabbing them down into the ground. Not joking. They also build structures shaped like teepees.
Back when I was about 18 years old, there was a swamp that I drove past almost daily. Somehow, someone or something tore a tree out of the ground and stuck it upside down in that swap. The roots of the tree were really big. It stood there for about 5 years.
Funny you said that because I was going to tell you that they do that. I just watched another one of your videos where you heard whooping. I think it was one of your very first ones. I'll have to try an instant pot. That would be an excellent idea. The compressor is mounted inside the frame rails of the truck. It freezes up every winter. It's a big pain.
