Idk why my yaks behave differently. Everyone else’s are agile and fast yet mine have the engine of a beat up rusted pt cruiser and the agility of a school bus without wheels💀
Ikr and their guns are crazy good it's like 8 12mm cannons it's crazy and so unbalanced we have it way harder than those other planes 😢

Yak1 was my main plane for quite a bit of both AIR rb and Ground RB . Nothing felt as great until i got my hands on the LA-5FN, LA-7 and the Yak3s .
Imagine learning how to spray with the yak 1, just to hop into the yak 1b and yak 9s

At rank 3 it gets abit sweaty on realistic 😂 and I've been flying for ages although I defo have turn off the aiming rectacle in arcade.

Every so often gaijin do events and in these events you can unlock rare vehicles and sell them for gaijin coin (their currency) you can then buy golden eagles and get the premium planes. Or I have another video showing you how to get free GE

Yak-1 its the Fkn MiG-27K on Tier 2, its fast but not the fastest, it turn good, it got a fkn Rotative cannon desguised as 2x Soviet 7mm and a 20mil

the Yak-1 is good for beginners, yes, but the rest of the soviet air tree isnt. like come on the La-7 has only like 2 rounds per gun. i recommend the british, which is like a mix of japanese maneuverability with the american (some do use the same engine) power, armor and armament.
Yak family is basically one of the most beginner friendly plane (especially Yak-3), even if you are braindead you can still score some frags. La-7 is a monster at altitudes below 4 km.

What does "energy" mean? And how to use it & what does it do? I'm new to the game!
First : check out DEFYN’s about the Mig 3 and you will understand,
Second,
Energy is the combination of speed and altitude, and it has a direct influence on the handling of your plane :
High altitude + high speed = high energy state and your plane will be very responsive and maneuverable
Low altitude + low speed = you are a lawnmowing sitting duck unable of every maneuver.
And also, be careful, some planes can retain there energy very well in maneuvers, while some others will dump everything in the slightest turn.
Two planes : the I-16 will out turn everything but will dump all his speed after a high speed dive in the first turn -> very bad energy retention and you will be an easy target for higher enemies
On the opposite side, you got the Mig 3, unable to turn very well, but it climbed very well, fly fast at high altitude and can retain its energy both in straight lines and turns very well, meaning in boom and zoom and energy fighting it will be excellent. You dive, you chose a target (beware of your prioritization, always choose the enemy in the highest energy state), you fire and you either run in straight lines and/or in a shallow climb to outrun enemies or you can start a spiral climbing around your target plane to drain its energy and then kill him whil he is literally falling into the air.

The content is great. But, the little video clips with screaming you put in make it rather annoying to watch with sound on.
i think, sometimes people forget, that by easing the easiest plane, it makes them worst at the game, you make yourself useless to any other skill needed to pilot other planes, making you only a decent pilot in 1 plane. just,, dont lol
