@@garathminis5108 I've played as a bomber plenty of times and it always ends the same way, dead before even getting close. At least with jets, props is better if i remember right. Tier late tier 4 to early 5 if you try and fly a heavy bomber, you have props and they have jet engines, you can't climb fast enough to get away and the entire enemy team sees you as an easy kill. Higher tiers like the F4 are great for bombing, easily kill a base and you can join in the dog fight with good tactics
One thing NO ONE ever talks about is landing and taking off, it gives you a 50% bonus to RP and SL (or something, I don't know the exact number (I'm not a data miner OK)). If you have time to RTB or kill 3 ground units, go for base you get wayyyyyyyyyy more (but if you can do both then yeah, do that) but the most important part is the take off. @@Thunderbox247 wait so you're saying that if I say - kill 2 guys - instead of immediately going for ground units after, it's better to return to base cause I will legit gain a huge boost to my score?
I have been playing ground RB since like forever as my last air RB battle was in like 2015 or so. I recently decided that I wanted to play more planes (I already play them a lot in ground RB, but I wanted to only play those). The tech tree I was the most advanced in was the french tech tree, having to grind only one plane to get my first jet, and when I got it I was CLUELESS. Like really, the best I could do in a match was taking down some AI planes or some ground pound. Started seeking help on youtube, stumbled on your channel, started to apply the tips and things I saw in your vids (and some other creators as well) and I'm now comfortably pulling off 3 to 4 kills games in the MD 452 IIA (which I don't think it particularly good, but that's the best I have for now). I gotta say that that's oddly satifying to see a game from start to finish, actually using your skills and game sense towards really tipping the balance towards victory or defeat. In ground RB, there is so much player that even if you get 15 kills, you're not guarranteed to win at all and sometimes there is just so much you can do that actually getting kills doesn't matter. You'd get the victory sooner or delay defeat for a bit longer and that's about it.
There is another very important thing: It's better to lose your altitude than your life If multiple people are fighting you, don't go into a sustained turnfight. You'll die, period (unless you're flying a kawasaki). Instead, become faster than one of them and perform a "smashed barrel roll" maneuver. When done correctly, you will end up with flyable speed and an overshooting opponent
Bro big fan, and this video couldnt have come at a better time. Ive recently found the courage to play air rb bc of ur vids and im now making stupid lions and rp on that tech tree, thank you!
Researching faster and getting more lions does not come from getting good, it comes from not being bad. If you can get atleast 1 or 2 kills a game, then you will usually get around 2k RP. But going on 5 kill games or so still seems to give about the same. Atleast for me thats usually how it goes.
@@gman7281 well yeah that's arcade. Arcade has insanely low gains for currency. To be completely honest, I don't even recognize arcade as a game mode anymore. It really just isn't worth playing in almost every form.

Remember the velocity of each type of rounds, then use one as the reference (e.g. 800m/s) and adjust from that if your current rounds are faster/slower than that
i got better in Ta-152H, mainly played this for 1.5 years and became almost immortal doing defensive flight and shutting down engine when on fire, get kills with stall fighting, vertical fighting, boom and zoom.
I think the most important thing to learn is not altitude advantage, is knowing the planes, because if you don't know how the planes stack against each other you are not going to put that altitude and energy to it's best use, for example at 4:09 going straight up right there was pretty risky because even if you have more energy than him the P-36 is very maneuverable, has very low stall speed and has .50 cals, so if he wasn't engaged by the spitfire he could just pitched up for you and spray you down. You said that having altitude advantage is a huge advantage, you are not wrong, but again depends on the plane because say the enemy has a altitude advantage but he is in a bad plane like the S-199 and you are in a very strong plane like the P-39N, if you dodge his first past he is dead because the performance difference is so big that it doesn't matter if he has the altitude advantage if you are paying attention.
just a tip, try not to consider yourself a failure if you are only showing bad aim. if you are having good approaches, and are surviving for long time periods, your tactics are probably heading in the right direction. unfortunately your aim is what decides your score. just try not to be too brutal on yourself if you are at least able to get good placement and attack. aim will come with time and experience with the plane. also, get the hell out of arcade battles unless you are trying to unlock mods for multiple planes at once. all arcade is going to do is make you dependent on an aim reticule that isnt all that acurate anyways since it only considers where the enemy will be if they continue to fly straight at that precise moment
if only i had this issue, i dont even survive when i try to engage or when i try to survive i often dont even shoot a single shot before getting chased and shot-down myself :/. i climb but im either too slow at climbing or too high and cant do anything anymore and its really fucking frustrating... and losing money for such a match is just the cherry on the brown icecream

Helps a lot to ace a crew for a plane and to play lower tiers than your highest tier unlocked. I've been messing around with the German G.50 the last couple days and have a 50:1 k/d without trying much and no flying to camp airfield AAA like 90% of scrubs. The death was from bellyflopping onto ground from packet loss 😂
Also, when organising crews, it's more efficient to have all planes to one crew slot, as you can quickly increase the skill levels of your pilot compared to having your planes distributed among many crew slots.
allso knowing your manouvrebility and firepower can make or break a grind. example: a lot of british planes make use of the hispano 20mm. while i have seen people shittalk the hispanos the reality is that once you learn them you can consistently use only them for your planes. great damage, mabye low velocity but that can be learnt with leading. other than that top speed is less important than horsepower per ton. sadly wt doesnt say how heavy a plane is, but you can still go for planes with strong engines to get better speed recovery in a dogefight. if you can manover good thats fine. but if you are a sitting duck afterwards that puts you in a bad spot. if you have bombs and get caught up in a dogefight drop em! they are no use to you if you are dead. learn to lead. get consistent. set a targeting range that works for you. keep your eyes occationally on the hit message bellow the map. if you hit an elevator or flap chanse is that your enemy is severly crippeled. hitting for example a radiator is not gonna do much for you immediatly. know how to engage heavily protected targets. if a plane have heavy turretcoverage you can bait it to shoot before you actually are within engagement distance. evaluate if you actually can take that thing down. how much damage can you take in the process before you must turn back. where to approatch on certain targets. damage: it is your friend. the bf109g6 gets 20s and 30s. use the 30s and get used to be conservative with your ammo. having only 70 bullets is a great exercise to force the brain to make better use of each shot. fire in bursts. in a head on lay down a net of bullets then get out of your enemys bullet trajectory. congrats you live to shoot again, he doesnt. learn how to take care of your plane. before getting to the central battlefield it can be beneficial to stay off wep and let the engine cool. wep can help in a dodgefight, and having a cooler engine makes you more prepaired. know your fuel time! occationally you will get a big map. know how to land your plane. most props can be belly landed no sweat. if you allso wingtoutch before setting down you can create more drag and slow down faster. when you get to jets you quickly find out that some jets just plain explode if you try to belly land tho. so be careful with those. for instance if your left gear is shot it is still smarter to pull out the right and land on a wingtip and a gear. tho some times you can belly land jets. controls: c(freecam) is important. you can be aware of where enemies are even if you dont face them right click(zoom) seeing the enemy can help with leading. as you know the enemys orientation and can thus predict its path mouse wheel, shift, control(throttle) please for the love of god dont use w and s for throttle. you need those for pitch. pitch and roll is very important to executing manouvers while looking at your enemy. yaw is less important but is useful on runways and formation flying. 1, 2 (guns) if you have several diffrent gun calibres onboard, sometimes it can be beneficial to use just one type for a sitioasjon. mouse click still fires all of them anyways. squadron point can allso help if you have friends. can be usefull in air matches, but most usefull while flying in ground matches. allso turn off orientation restriction near the ground so you have full control
i am a very new player to air rb and i havent quite got the situational awareness to get kills in matches as common as others but this has made more sense than any other guide i have watched. too bad that everybody on the enemy team always goes just that bit higher and my brain just forgets to be on the lookout.
It continues to be painful to not see people even in the higher tiers exercise this concept. Even in the damn harrier where I have not much dogfighting capability I'll get many kills just because I went to 20k feet faster than anyone and got on to someone's six.
the reason you got to 20k feet before anyone else is because its a harrier, you get off of the airfield about a solid minute before anyone else, and when i try to go to altitude, there's already a harrier going pretty fast compared to me going around 350-400 kph (217-248 mph) and cannot evade. it ruins the gameplay.
@@u_nuub339 Im well aware, yet Ill see harriers remaining on the deck when they have a clear advantage to a10/su25 spam in climb. This video really is only wrong when going 11.3 br with radar missiles, but even then a f14 with a height advantage wins.
The reason that at the start at the game i didnt like realistic battles is because i kept ripping my wings or slamming to the ground, now, 2 years later, is where i farm with my swede planes, researching tier 3 right now babeee.
What if you climb to like 5 km altitude and entire enemy team is at like 1-2 km? How do you do in that situation? And what if you face a more maneuverable plane at the same altitude as you (japanese planes) then what? Everybody says to climb and not what to do afterwards. I know to point my nose up and go afk but that wont get me kills.
@@ugarit5 Didn't answer their question. If a fighter who's faster and more maneuverable than you is on your level you are fucked. The best you can do is play defensively, get them on your ass, hope they can't nail you with a lucky 20mm, and if you survive and they passed you, you have one shot to tail them and nail them. Otherwise you're dead.
I heard everybody say this but actually used this in a game (just now) and it made the game so much eaasier.Thx for such simple words that make all the difference.
For beginners: The thing that kills you in ARB is usally a mistake you made up ti 2 minutes ago or so. Positioning is everything. If you always have good position you are either really hard or impossible to shoot down When it comes to missle BRs, positionig AND awareness.
Ive been intimidated for a long time by air battles. Kept trying them and getting chewed out immediately. Finally spent an afternoon getting familiar with 4 planes in a private room and gave it another shot. Worked better but still was getting chewed out badly, so i left em alone for a while again. But like all things, something was missing from my ground force and i gave in for another shot at planes. So i started flying high and diving down on enemies like you do in your video and i immediately saw some results. I then learned how to properly dog fight by trial and error and now i can condidentely say that im leaving planes once again because man i suck theres nothing to be done in my case, i just suck at it 🙃
As a beginner I can say with more altitude other things like artillery, tanks and armored cars during ground control are a lot easier to kill and hit than zooming right by them in your enemies sights soon for you to be shot down
>climb for 5 minutes >see the entire enemy team below >try to dive on a japanese plane >he sees it coming and rolls away >you miss your strafe >now the japanese plane is on your ass' within 5 microseconds >dies pathetically
Please do a vid on your controls man... its one thing to look behind you when someone is on your 6 - but that smooth way you keep the camera on them after they over shoot and then you line up the shot - can't get that going. I release the look around and it snaps back to center and I end up losing the plane in front of me... plus the look around is restricted to 360 in the vertical plane for some reason... so sometimes in a long loop session camera gets stuck and then lose the plane. Would be greatly appreciated!
Its true what you say, but might be a really good thing if you show a little video of how to get to a good altitude,I find it difficult in Air RB, to climb to a decent altitude from take off. So that might be a quick vid for you to make. Other than that, great vid.
ive been using the boom and zoon technique and been after bombers as well. Progression is going fast and smooth sailing. been getting at least 5 kills in each plane.
I will comment: climbing to space to catch an enemy in space while your team dies also isnt a good choice. Target selection is key and you'll learn good target selection over time.
I'm so glad I only played the game to get the vehicles I like or I think would be fun to play. Which all of them were either in tier 3 or tier 2. With maybe one or two in tier 4.
It feels like ayers on WT have become more dumb, like, I remember when almost EVERYONE used to climb, now, it's usually only half, or sometimes only 1 or 2 people from each team, I mean it makes it fun for us that climb, just feel a little boring.
I love how I shoot 1000 rounds into an airplane and maybe get 2 hits, but this guy has clips of him just casually one tapping pilots out of their planes
so ive been playing for about 3-4 months now and i have not once heard boom and zoom NOR did i hear about 'altitude-is-best' thing... THANK YOU SO MUCH... I can now reach podium finishes W/O using a bomber :D I am what they call a VETERAN NOOB hahaha yay me!
i mean..this whole video is true but a thing that people dont really speak about is the other side, depending on the nation and the plane you might have a hard time outclimbing your oponent so...Any tips on defensive flight against booming oponents?
the biggest problem i have with air RB is that half the time you spend 15 minutes climbing to a good altitude only for the whole enemy team to have died already to people who didn't bother climbing and you've wasted the match with absolutely no participation whatsoever
It feels like if someone shoots a single bullet in your direction and it misses you lose all of your oil and fly away to die somewhere. At least that has been my expirience unless im about to get a kill then i lose connection
hmmmm yes…. but what if im in my Ta 152H in jet match with SU 11 on my six? 😂 i mean i still manage to reverse (or stall out) literally anything in my old rusty trusty Ta 152 but what if i’m in 8v8 match, 3 fighters in my team, 1 of them goes ground pounding and the second one stays low and dies on first head-on with a frickn… idk lol… let’s say bearcat… what do you do in that literally 1v7 scenario where most of your enemies are faster, climb better than you, turn better than you and they can sit on your ass forever since you just can’t reverse them (bcs of awesome energy retention of ta152)? what do you do? it ends up usually with 2-4 kills on my side but i still die and we lose because we have a shitload of ju 288s? but in general everything you said is true, confirmed :D
I never could get good at war thunder. The later ranks feel like literal CBT and it was just awful. The earlier ranks where ok, when I started off I flew against noobs like myself but I caught on quickly to the controls and mechanics, and there was even an air arcade battle where I scored like 12 to 13 kills in a Japanese float plane. But the moment I started getting further up, it felt like I was flying against sweats who lived and breathed the game and it was rare for me to ever get a kill, I usually just died over and over, it sucked.
i started playing 30 days ago and for some reason i sit on 1.5kill ratio is RB and i make less then doing AB in AB im top 3 75% of the time reaching 11k and dying 1-2 time but i find it hard to play RB since i feel everything is slower plane dont behave the same way ! ive learn to shoot ive removed the aim in AB and carry my team most of the time ! ive played lots of custom game into RB but i still find it hard to play RB for some reason i feel like plane i use to understand wich 1 to be aware of every situation isnt the same in RB (cause of flaps speed and getting kill by a teamate from the start) i wich i could get 8 kill into an RB match XD the thing is im really good in dogfightning ! im really got to avoid getting shot at doing alot of manoeuver and turn the fight around even if im 1vs3 in a dogfight .. the thing i lack is energy fightning when i should start to pitch for them when they get low energy i feel its not easy to know the timing when they are about to stall and everything so thats probably why i never carry anything in RB ..
Tbh, when play, I am quite good. I mean, I am literally in 90% of battles amongst top 3-5, and in about every 3rd game Im the top dog. But its just 3.7. I am aware. I started to play in October 2023, and reached Germany Air 3.7. However, I reached 9.0 or so in ground. The problem is, I start playing - all good, often great (its rare to have less than 5 kills in tanks and to be MVP in air). But, as 2 hours of playing passed ( to me it looks like 30 minutes), I am starting to suck. Not completely, but, I have 2 or 3 kills per game and few assists, which is no that bad, BUT its not good either. In other words, my focus goes rapidly down after 1,5 or 2 hours. Also, I often play only WW2 vehicles (up to 7.0 or so). I found it much more fun than higher BR. So, my advice to all of you, facing similar issue - switch to arcade mode or go to much lower BR (3.0 or 4.0). Low on SL ? Turn off autorepair, AND CHOOSE BY YOURSELF WHAT REPAIR TO PAY. Also, if you fought in (for example) PantherF and had 5 or more kills, repair costs will be maximal or very close to maximal, regardless of what happened to tank (even if you survive in it, its often close to 1000SL - and you didnt even got destroyed). Next game, turret went to the moon, but I did nothing in Panther and repair costs 100 or 200SL. So, gaijin actually connected repair costs to how good you performed. Advice: do not play to grind, you will just suffer. Never forget you play it for fun and fun is the only thing that matters... See you in Stalingrad, Huertgen forest or Flanders (I play 6.0 Germany most of the time). My nick is Noobforthelife...

If I remember correctly it was added as a way of giving bombers in SIM a reason to land and not just 'J' out after dumping bombs .
bombers finally did something good for the game
That only is (or was) a thing in Sim battles iirc
@@kilux85 no it works in RB, I use it every chance I get and the difference in very noticeable
@@Thunderbox247 wait so you're saying that if I say - kill 2 guys - instead of immediately going for ground units after, it's better to return to base cause I will legit gain a huge boost to my score?
If this is true, that would be pretty cool. However, I have never noticed any improvements by landing and taking off in the middle of the match.
@@J4ckmaestro yes, it is nuts but it works
There is another very important thing:
It's better to lose your altitude than your life
If multiple people are fighting you, don't go into a sustained turnfight. You'll die, period (unless you're flying a kawasaki). Instead, become faster than one of them and perform a "smashed barrel roll" maneuver. When done correctly, you will end up with flyable speed and an overshooting opponent
"Speed is life. Altitude is life insurance."
Bro big fan, and this video couldnt have come at a better time. Ive recently found the courage to play air rb bc of ur vids and im now making stupid lions and rp on that tech tree, thank you!
Hey jet, I was in the stream last night and thank you for making this. Your the only creator I’ve found who gives good tips
Researching faster and getting more lions does not come from getting good, it comes from not being bad. If you can get atleast 1 or 2 kills a game, then you will usually get around 2k RP. But going on 5 kill games or so still seems to give about the same. Atleast for me thats usually how it goes.
Yup once landed a 7 kill air rb game, only 4k rp :(
A positive kd in arcade for new players at 2.0 to 3.0 br gives about 2k SL and 500 to 800 rp
@@gman7281 well yeah that's arcade. Arcade has insanely low gains for currency. To be completely honest, I don't even recognize arcade as a game mode anymore. It really just isn't worth playing in almost every form.
Honestly Mt friend earns more rp than I do all the time yet performs bottom of the leaderboard in kills etc where I can be top and have 7 kills and end the match with 800rp where he with 0 captures maybe 1 kill will get over 3k rp
Literally easier said than done 90% of the time I die without a kill. Pretty sure Atleast everyone is hacking no way that’s legit
when you see those bf 109 above you, it feels like their above the earth's sphere of influence
*_For more than 5 years in War Thunder i've never touched an Plane once because i have been always scared (i just cannot aim properly without this helping dot on the Ground Radar Vehicles) but now i want to start my Sky Journey for zero with Germany but a im so bad at flying. This video gives me a Courage to try...... flying! Thank You Sir!_* 🤗

Is good advice, shows examples, and is concise. Great video!
You said that having altitude advantage is a huge advantage, you are not wrong, but again depends on the plane because say the enemy has a altitude advantage but he is in a bad plane like the S-199 and you are in a very strong plane like the P-39N, if you dodge his first past he is dead because the performance difference is so big that it doesn't matter if he has the altitude advantage if you are paying attention.
even if this novermber im going to buy my first tier 7 plane i still have to learn a lot!! thx for the vid!!!
Damn, my guy uploaded the video I needed the most. Thx, keep the content coming.
just a tip, try not to consider yourself a failure if you are only showing bad aim. if you are having good approaches, and are surviving for long time periods, your tactics are probably heading in the right direction. unfortunately your aim is what decides your score. just try not to be too brutal on yourself if you are at least able to get good placement and attack. aim will come with time and experience with the plane. also, get the hell out of arcade battles unless you are trying to unlock mods for multiple planes at once. all arcade is going to do is make you dependent on an aim reticule that isnt all that acurate anyways since it only considers where the enemy will be if they continue to fly straight at that precise moment
if only i had this issue, i dont even survive when i try to engage or when i try to survive i often dont even shoot a single shot before getting chased and shot-down myself :/. i climb but im either too slow at climbing or too high and cant do anything anymore and its really fucking frustrating... and losing money for such a match is just the cherry on the brown icecream
@@organicleaf it's really tough to "see the moment" like defyn does.. choosing who to go after, judging what to risk when... Also what are you flying? Is it bad at high altitude?
@@jschuh0509 im still new and i just stick with the yak-7b rn and the blue lagg (cant remember the name rn)
@@organicleaf if i recall, the yak is better below 3000 meters, the prop looses effectiveness, and the surfaces suck up high, do you know if the yak u use has the super charger? That's prolly why you are getting chased down so much, a yak up high going slow is considered an easy kill in a lot of lobbies.
@@jschuh0509 i dont think so, no, only like the whole standard low br stuff, compressor, new motor, better injector and stuff like that
I like how I'm listening to this in game while making the mistakes he said not to do😂
Helps a lot to ace a crew for a plane and to play lower tiers than your highest tier unlocked.
Bro you're a literal sniper in that plane. it usually takes me hundreds of bullets to hit someone
allso knowing your manouvrebility and firepower can make or break a grind. example: a lot of british planes make use of the hispano 20mm. while i have seen people shittalk the hispanos the reality is that once you learn them you can consistently use only them for your planes. great damage, mabye low velocity but that can be learnt with leading.
other than that top speed is less important than horsepower per ton. sadly wt doesnt say how heavy a plane is, but you can still go for planes with strong engines to get better speed recovery in a dogefight. if you can manover good thats fine. but if you are a sitting duck afterwards that puts you in a bad spot. if you have bombs and get caught up in a dogefight drop em! they are no use to you if you are dead.
learn to lead. get consistent. set a targeting range that works for you. keep your eyes occationally on the hit message bellow the map. if you hit an elevator or flap chanse is that your enemy is severly crippeled. hitting for example a radiator is not gonna do much for you immediatly.
know how to engage heavily protected targets. if a plane have heavy turretcoverage you can bait it to shoot before you actually are within engagement distance. evaluate if you actually can take that thing down. how much damage can you take in the process before you must turn back. where to approatch on certain targets.
damage: it is your friend. the bf109g6 gets 20s and 30s. use the 30s and get used to be conservative with your ammo. having only 70 bullets is a great exercise to force the brain to make better use of each shot. fire in bursts. in a head on lay down a net of bullets then get out of your enemys bullet trajectory. congrats you live to shoot again, he doesnt.
learn how to take care of your plane. before getting to the central battlefield it can be beneficial to stay off wep and let the engine cool. wep can help in a dodgefight, and having a cooler engine makes you more prepaired. know your fuel time! occationally you will get a big map.
know how to land your plane. most props can be belly landed no sweat. if you allso wingtoutch before setting down you can create more drag and slow down faster. when you get to jets you quickly find out that some jets just plain explode if you try to belly land tho. so be careful with those. for instance if your left gear is shot it is still smarter to pull out the right and land on a wingtip and a gear. tho some times you can belly land jets.
controls: c(freecam) is important. you can be aware of where enemies are even if you dont face them
right click(zoom) seeing the enemy can help with leading. as you know the enemys orientation and can thus predict its path
mouse wheel, shift, control(throttle) please for the love of god dont use w and s for throttle. you need those for pitch. pitch and roll is very important to executing manouvers while looking at your enemy. yaw is less important but is useful on runways and formation flying.
"Altitude is the most important thing".
Mean while Im flying so close to the ground that I can taste the dirt😂😂.

Use your speed and do passes on them
@@ugarit5 Didn't answer their question. If a fighter who's faster and more maneuverable than you is on your level you are fucked. The best you can do is play defensively, get them on your ass, hope they can't nail you with a lucky 20mm, and if you survive and they passed you, you have one shot to tail them and nail them. Otherwise you're dead.
Prop fighting is the most fun I’ve had playing a game in years I’m not even looking forward to jets
I heard everybody say this but actually used this in a game (just now) and it made the game so much eaasier.Thx for such simple words that make all the difference.
For beginners:
The thing that kills you in ARB is usally a mistake you made up ti 2 minutes ago or so.
Positioning is everything.
If you always have good position you are either really hard or impossible to shoot down
When it comes to missle BRs, positionig AND awareness.
This guy is headshotting everyone while casually talking the most simplistic things😂
I then learned how to properly dog fight by trial and error and now i can condidentely say that im leaving planes once again because man i suck theres nothing to be done in my case, i just suck at it 🙃
As a beginner I can say with more altitude other things like artillery, tanks and armored cars during ground control are a lot easier to kill and hit than zooming right by them in your enemies sights soon for you to be shot down
The average american air rb experience:
Climb for five minutes, start turning (98364G force)
Gets hit once
dies
>climb for 5 minutes
>see the entire enemy team below
>try to dive on a japanese plane
>he sees it coming and rolls away
>you miss your strafe
>now the japanese plane is on your ass' within 5 microseconds
>dies pathetically
"That's why you see every single person climb as high as they can at the start of a match"
Only on the enemy team tho lmao my team does not. :^)
Sweden is the fastest tree. It's a very small tech tree so at around rank 4 and 5 is where the jets start coming around
I can’t boom and zoom because my gun are so sh*t that I have to follow them for one minute
Yea, I'm just gonna go ahead and climb in my Yak. Absolutely nothing bad is going to happen for sure.
Funny thing is this not only helps in war thunder but in wings of glory as well!
Thanks for this I used to die like 100,000,000 times in a row before I won
this helped me so much I was getting only 1 kill games before this now I am getting 6 to 5 kill games thanks so much!

Stealth ammo is the best in my opinion. People tend not to react well of they can't see the bullets
I can now reach podium finishes W/O using a bomber :D

You never win at war thunder you just do a little better every time
i mean..this whole video is true but a thing that people dont really speak about is the other side, depending on the nation and the plane you might have a hard time outclimbing your oponent so...Any tips on defensive flight against booming oponents?
Great info! I never use boom and zoom or altitude advantages. Even after reaching jets this is useful.
the biggest problem i have with air RB is that half the time you spend 15 minutes climbing to a good altitude only for the whole enemy team to have died already to people who didn't bother climbing and you've wasted the match with absolutely no participation whatsoever
ok but how is he one shotting all those planes near the beginning
this is what I've been asking since my first one-shot death
It feels like if someone shoots a single bullet in your direction and it misses you lose all of your oil and fly away to die somewhere. At least that has been my expirience unless im about to get a kill then i lose connection
pro tip: you do not want to get to top tier just enjoy the game while you can
Cool, now how do I get USA allies to climb above 600ft?
i got better just by watching you for 2 minutes lol
i still think this game is just a classic case of whoever has the better blank wins
Any OTHER tips for grinding?

Thank you I’m actually good now
I want that rematch Jet, preferably a jet or so lol
Jetnoob giving everyone his tip today 😏
hmmmm yes…. but what if im in my Ta 152H in jet match with SU 11 on my six? 😂
i mean i still manage to reverse (or stall out) literally anything in my old rusty trusty Ta 152 but what if i’m in 8v8 match, 3 fighters in my team, 1 of them goes ground pounding and the second one stays low and dies on first head-on with a frickn… idk lol… let’s say bearcat… what do you do in that literally 1v7 scenario where most of your enemies are faster, climb better than you, turn better than you and they can sit on your ass forever since you just can’t reverse them (bcs of awesome energy retention of ta152)? what do you do? it ends up usually with 2-4 kills on my side but i still die and we lose because we have a shitload of ju 288s?
but in general everything you said is true, confirmed :D
Haha, 8v8 against Germany at ~6.0 is almost always a slaughter
what if you sideclimb to get above everybody but your teams already wiped them out?
Then you're kinda boned.
Best way to cheese it is to get a very durable plane bristling with turrets
I never could get good at war thunder. The later ranks feel like literal CBT and it was just awful.
The earlier ranks where ok, when I started off I flew against noobs like myself but I caught on quickly to the controls and mechanics, and there was even an air arcade battle where I scored like 12 to 13 kills in a Japanese float plane.
But the moment I started getting further up, it felt like I was flying against sweats who lived and breathed the game and it was rare for me to ever get a kill, I usually just died over and over, it sucked.
Great explaining! You earned a Sub.
Thx, though this video was kind of rushed, and a bit vague. I will make a better one in the coming months.

My nick is Noobforthelife...

bombers are unplayable

Ahh, of course after the stream it’s gonna be about how to get better at war thunder since so much people ask him about it during streams.
Your games are unbelievable not because of your methods but because of you getting kills with a p39
it's good and all until somehow by pure unluckiness you got over-g or stalled or even worst the plane it's self decided to mess with you
I hope America mains watch this and finally start climbing above 1km. And/or stop diving on the first attacker they see. I'm tired of trying to solo 3 spits, 2 190s and an a7m almost every game.
It causes physical pain when I see a fighter carrying bombs in ARB. They might as well be an empty slot on your team.
Why is bombs bad? They let u hit the enemy bases with the bombers
