Yeah, after Dubstep achieved maturity, artists from the UK who wanted to make something future forward, would be encompassed by the Dubstep scene at the time. Artists were also making a conscious effort to separate themselves, and this is where terms like 'post-dubstep' came around. Later with more refinement, the future garage scene was born (named by whistla), taking on the dark aesthetics of burial's music.

i think so yeah, post dubstep or just "sounds-like-burial"
it does overlap with chillstep though imo this is darker and covers a lot wider bpm
