i have the 8 x 42 its wonderful, simply WONDERFUL, ED for a little money, My use case, hiking, dog walks, birdwatching and basic astronomy, its easy to carry and focus one handed so its my absolute go to. My dad used it once... kept it! I had to buy a 2nd one to replace my "stolen" one. Not sure I'd go for the 25 mm monocular as in low light the 8x42 is soo much better . thanks again for your great service @northernoptics happy repeat customer (4 times I think now ;-)
