I bought some Coty Airspun Powder after one of your videos. After I got it home, and tried it out I was STRUCK by the scent. I was flooded with memories of my grandmother. I called my mom to ask if my Grandma used it, and she said, "Yes! Everyday!" She used to empty it into a fancy antique powder dish she kept on her vanity, and would dust it on my face when I would watch her do her makeup. :)
Thank you! Now, I use it & think of her. She passed 12 years ago.
I like the smell of the Coty Airspun powder because it reminds me of my grandma when I was a kid, back before she had Alzheimer's. She used to use this powder, and I used to look through her makeup. Good memories :)
Literally exactly the same thing with me. I remember i would spend the day with her and i spent hours in her bathroom playing with her makeup. I miss those days.

me too! I still have the powder my grandma had, after she died I got all of her makeup (obvi I don't use it) but it's all so pretty And vintage looking so I keep it out. love the smell, maybe I'm a weirdo but I love it.
I love the smell too! It is VERY strong but it makes me feel happy for whatever reason. lol I shlove ittt and it fades anyway, so whatevs

I remember when I was a teen and "upgraded" to the Coty Airspun from baby powder...... Yes, babypowder. I was very oily and am very pale and very broke. LoL
dont feel bad, i still sometimes use baby powder to cook my undereyes when im in a pinch 😂👌
I'm extremely fair and very oily and for some reason baby powder doesn't work for me XD I oil through it XD. If you can afford it, mac translucent set powder is my HOLY GRAIL and you get so much of it. I've had mine for months and I'm only like halfway through and I use it even when I don't wear foundation. I don't have to touch up through the day which is a huge plus for me and it just works so well.
+Julie Gardner i used to prime my face with baby powder because i had heard that beyonce did it 💁🏼i actually really liked the way my face felt. i did not use it to set though. just before applying strobe cream by mac. i doubt beyonce ever did the same, but hey we go through things as young girls 😝
+Vanda Petrak does that actually work?! I'm beyond pale so the color would prolly be spot on but I've never heard of using it as face powder! super intrigued now...
+Vicky Arnett i have to say looking back nine months from then i have fallen head over heels with the laura mercier loose powder and nothing else compares. baby powder works if you have normal to oily skin (which i have no more, im super dry now and do not bake anymore) but is def not for everyday use. it will clogge your pores like nothing else if you use it on a daily basis. however if you have no other alternative and are superduper fair it will work! x
Tati, I have been wanting to comment on your videos forever...you have changed my makeup game completely and I consider you to be like my personal beauty product mentor. I remember my grandmother having the Coty Airspun Powder when I was a lil girl (I'm now 29) and I kept seeing you use it. well, I have super dry skin and almost all of my powders, even high end, would give me a cakey type appearance or creases. I bought the Coty powder this past Saturday after searching for it at multiple drug stores, finally found it at Walgreens. IT IS EFFING AMAZING and makes my skin look incredible!

The Stay Matte powder is even good for dry skin. I use it because I hate having a dewy look that the different dry skin foundations can cause. It's my absolute favorite!

Everyone loves it but on me it crumbles and breaks apart in like an hour
I want to like it like everyone else, but it does not make me matte. I used to use oil on my face as a moisturizer, and even after applying this powder I was shiny within an hour. Even after reapplying I'd be shiny again
I dont know if you will have the answer to my question but i hve slightly darker skin so will the translucent shade work for me?
I have not seen the translucent powder myself, but I am fairly certain that it would work fine on darker skin because it is transparent. I wish I was able to answer you fully, but I use the tinted one rather than the transparent
I've been using Coty for about a year now and I love it! I'm so glad you recommended it in a previous video. I even use it over matte foundation... I just love the airbrush look it gives. So glad to see you're still suggesting it.
I just love how you don't discriminate drugstore products or cheap products. Sometimes i hate i dont have enough money but then i come i watch your videos and makes me feel better. JAJAJAJ love you Tati you are amazing.

I love the Rimmel stay matte too! My current crush is NYX blotting powder and I use that to set my makeup. The NYX is finely milled and you don't have to use a lot like you do with the Rimmel. Love your look today Tati!

I am on my 2nd It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores, and I love it! I has a yellow appearance, but come thru as translucent. Never cakey and flawless.
