The O- Line just didn't block. That was the outcome of the game.
Last year we had fireworks in the preseason and we were terrible throughout the season offensively. We need time to get this new offense going. We won't have coordinator issues holding us back this year. Players will get it together.
Also, defensively we played really well. Good outing by those guys! That can't be over looked.
Last year, the Steelers were great in the preseason and you saw how the regular season went
Nothing has changed, the standard is still the standard, and Tomlin knows too many fans will back him as long as he has another average season. Average seasons seem to excite so many on these sites.
Well, this season is gonna be worse. Lord Almighty we really are horrible.

Absolutely
O-line is a disaster. Jones is regressing in 2nd year (1st round draft choice) and Fauntanu (1st round) is still a question. Does not appear NFL ready and may end up a guard. Steelers will need to keep Washington TE on the right to help whoever is the right tackle. Moore LT grades below average but is the best tackle on the team. That's a problem. Fields reminds me of Kordell Stewart both the good and the bad.

Jones is playing with an injured elbow, he's been wearing a brace. They need to pull him and rest him so he can get back to his normal playing.

The offense will be ok. it's going to take time before the offense starts to work, maybe two or three games during the regular season everyone gotta be patient.
How many more years do we have to be patient for something other than a .500 season?

A message to coach Tomlin and Omar Khan, Troy Fautanu will grow to be a premier LT if you ease him in behind Dan Moore. Training him to reverse his footwork from his thousands of college snap experience will only waste a year of more of professional development. Jones was much more raw than Fautanu and is built more like a RT. Align them as such and the results you seek will happen much quicker. All this flip flopping will only lead to much longer developmental time.
Trading away Diontae Johnson who was great at getting open on the field was stupid! No WR opposite of George Pickens! Justin Fields with both George Pickens and Diontae Johnson would have been sneaky good!! That O-line is terrible. You need fast receivers who get open!!…

We couldn’t watch the game because the NFL Network sucks. I live in York PA and there was no way for us to watch this game. Wasn’t on local channels and was blacked out on NFL Network. Second week in a row we couldn’t watch. Hard to be a die hard fan when you can’t watch. Someone please help us get this fixed.

Defense showed up, offense like the past few seasons is a no show.

Nobody talked about OL when Pickett was QB and even before now they invested heavily in the same OL, new players look good but excuses are made for QBs.
What do you mean nobody is talking about Oline when Pickett was QB? The media was, every Steelers UA-camr was. Every comment section during free agency was pleading for it. You just weren’t listening, or where you go for your information needs to change.

I think Broderick is protecting his development as a LT taking a page from Dan Moore’s playbook-be awful at RT and they won’t make you learn or play RT. What does “being good” at RT get Broderick?

The third string quarterback has played better than fields and Wilson in the preseason right now but know one has said anything about him because he read the field and move the ball down field and I told you guys jaylen Warren is not going to be the guy this injury is going to prove that they need najee Harris a bell cow not a fast race house that can't perform those kind of injurys don't just go away right away if we don't wake up and get it together fast enough it's going to be over early for the Steelers and that's the coaching staff fault

I watched Aaron Roger's come back from being gone all year and the jets offense looked amazing. So looks like yet another disappointing below average year awaits us for the next 3 years

Justin Fields has a strong arm. Russell arm is solid. Russell can’t play with a bad O-line. Steelers traded the best route runner on the team Diontae Johnson. Outside of George Pickens and maybe…Scotty Miller…the receivers suck. They don’t get open. As long as Justin Fields doesn’t fumble…he is good!! Justin Fields gives us best chance to win. Definitely need a real WR2.

I am 70 years old, I 'was' a Steeler fan for 55 years, and then I got tired of Tomlin's "average" seasons, and fans cheering for him because of the mediocrity. I watched when Buddy Parker was head coach. How many coaches have you seen for the Steelers? It's past time for Tomlin to be let go. Do a search on his stats as a coach and check his playoff record. It's dismal at best. Non-losing seasons, in my opinion, are nothing to be happy about if you get kicked out of the playoffs in the first round nearly every year, but hey, you keep on cheering mediocrity, after all, the standard is the standard.

The 05 Steelers had Ben Roethlisberger!! Justin Fields and Russell are better than Pickett but they only have George Pickens to throw to. 05 we had Hines Ward, Randle El and Nate Washington and….Jerome Bettis!!!

These guys can click and get rolling though and make a strong playoff run. The 05 team had been knocking on the door until Ben got there and then they kicked it in. This team is getting to be respectable.
