Coming from Smite as a joust main who also plays tons of Clash & arena I’ve been waiting for a mode like this to play with my friends since Pred launched!!

I was just coming here to say this! The game is going in a good direction and I’m glad it came back cause OG paragon was my favorite
That’s map has a lot of smite qualities for sure I too mostly played joust and arena but conquest is also fun which made me think that people won’t be playing that as much anymore on pred which can take away players but at the same time if they are playing brawl then at least the game has active players keeping the game going
@@NoneKnowing I believe having options is best, I don't think Omeda will be taking any players away from 5v5 regular Monolith style map and simply created a world where ppl can rotate through maps! Big W here however I think there should be more in the map but that can always be changed down the road. Cudos to Omeda
This game is way better than smite.
Smite every character has cc immune abilities and ults. Then to to top of off beads.
Plus smite has loot box locked skins which is just retarded.

I played Paragon before I even knew what Smite was. Hell, I didn't even know what a MOBA was. After Paragon shut down, I got into Smite. While I love Smite, it's not as good Paragon IMO. One thing I did love about Smite though, was Arena mode. So glad this mode has finally made it into Paragon/Predecessor. I've tried the multiple revival projects and played some of them until they shut down. I am glad that Predecessor is essentially the victor, it carries the original aesthetic, sound design and feeling of Paragon. Just reinstalled, time to see how rusty I am.

Conquest and Arena in smite were my jam and I played pred on release stopped due to burn out and it wasn't going in a good direction but I'm keen to try it again now
This is how you dev a modern moba! Give us modes so other heroes who suffer in the primary mode can shine in variety modes like this! Good stuff!

@@chitoo95Arena does not spawn map objectives in it. Which seems like it is going to be very important difference. Also no health packs on arena. So no it is not a copy and paste try again.

This game deserves so much MORE love, been playing smite as well but the movement/aesthetic feels so much better in this game. My only complaint is the match making, hovering around plat 1 - plat 2 with like 100-200 matches and can’t tell you how many games I’ve lost because I get monkeys on my team from gold and silver 😢 Other than that love this MOBA!! Nice to see a new game type!
Yeah matchmaking will never be perfect in a game with so few players (by comparison)

Plat is within 100 rating of Gold. This game regularly has ELO averages in a round fluctuate by up to 400. You aren't too different from a Gold or Silver play yourself ;]
@@web5592 while you are very right no doubt. The silvers i get and he most certainly is talkin about act like they just gained the ability to push buttons haha its actual insanityive had a gideon with 40 deaths zero kills zero assists and ad items. Like common haha
Damn, I figured this was gonna be an arena type mode like in League but this adds alot more to it, and I'm glad for it. Can't wait to try it out.

As a someone who wanted to purchase the game because it looks fun, but was intimidated by the MOBA lane system, THIS has made me slide the game into my library. I’ll definitely buy to play this and maybe even dunk my toes in the normal mode as well once I learn the champions. Not sure how the OGs of the game feel about this mode, but definitely a good strategy to bring in new players like myself!
Day one paragon OG from back in 2016.
When it died I left for its brother, Smite. I grew to like smite quite a bit and one of my favorite modes to play to wind down or chill from a rage filled conquest match was Arena. Which is what this mode in pred is
I support it. I have not played pred since Revenant came out so it's a good mode to get re acquainted

This is insane I love the idea of 10 heroes in one lane fighthing over objectives. Keep up the good work this game shows promise

This looks like a lot of hectic fun, but also looks like it's going to provide a lot of opportunities for newer players to both understand character roles in team fights while also showing the importance of wave management, objectives, and their coinciding buffs. I cannot wait to play this on Tuesday!

imo bringing back prime dunking for this specific mode would have made the Orb Prime contesting even better and brawlier

What is prime dunking?
@@JamalFreeman It was an old Paragon mechanic from the first map where you would have to kill orb prime in one area of the map, collect the orb from it and carry it over to your teams drop-off point.
I hate dunking but maybe it could benefit this mode.

I came back to this since the legacy game shut down in 2018. I was soooo rusty when I jumped on today. I really enjoyed this mode! Can't wait to relearn how to play again!! Let's go!

As a day one OG paragon vet i can finally say you surpassed the original at least in this way.
The OG died from greed and Epics negligence and favoritism for Fortnite before it could ever get any additional modes.
I dont know if you guys still have the OG creator Steve Superville on the team in his advisory role but if you do keep him close, he probably had so many ideas for modes like these and this coild be your chance to finally make it reality
While i still preferred the ganeplay, looks and smoothness of the original paragon (back when i played pred it was not near to that level yet) i hope you guys eventually do reach that level.
And dont do what paragon in its dying days did and ignore the community. That will end you like it did (partially speaking) the original.

I loved the Arena mode in Smite, so to see this game mode in Pred is getting me so hyped and the ice queen is back!!!
This the type of stuff this game needs aswell as adding more maps instead of the same one every time. BUT, if you could make it so there was a way to earn skins for characters by grinding instead of just paying that would be dope as well.
They already have that, you can get prestige skins for free by playing

Please have recommendation loadouts for this as well :) us new players appreciate that little detail while being introduced to the genre. I’ve been having great fun and learning the different items over the games I’ve played so far

This is a big step in the right direction. More of this, and I can see this game reaching hights of popularity. This is the only mode I liked when playing smite, the verticality of predecessor will just take it to the next level.
Yea, exactly. This is the only mode in Smite that I play now, and this will have more features and objectives, and can actually get on top of platforms which should offer a different feel and more strategy, unlike in Smite where it's just flat and no terrain options. Def hype for this mode to be in Pred!!

That feeling of joy when a game puts out an arena mode in a game that looks and plays better than Smite 2. HiRes money grabbing with old graphics and a sluggishly boring conquest map without other modes.

Not all that excited about the new brawl mode but it is a step in the right direction especially now they starting to use more Agora/Legacy assets (similar to there training map) big plus here!
It's just great giving options for play time with 2 maps now so fingers crossed they continue to grow the game as they have been 😎✌️
I like the Agora/Legacy vibes. I just wish the map didn't look like an 8 year old was making it 😂. You know these games where you can create your own map (maybe like Fortnite, idk, never played it but I know there are some player creations or whatever? It looks like that.

We love the new mode! And to the negative Nancy's out there. There's a reaon this game was revamped 4+ times by numerous companies. We dont "need" new players ( we 100% welcome you all!) but we're actually dedicated to something we love. This game will always be here ❤
